We’ve got five championship matches, two debuts, and quite possibly the biggest title match in recent Stardom history as Mayu Iwatani defends against Utami Hayashishita as the icon of Stardom faces the future Ace of Stardom.

Future Of Stardom Championship: Maika (C) vs Saya Iida

Maika looks to defend the Future Of Stardom title here against one of two serious challengers for her title. Maika defeated Saya Kamitani in her first defense and a win over Iida would essentially clear out the Future division of credible challengers. That’s never stopped Stardom from having a dominant Future champion before so we expect her to win here and continue to stand out as a future star for the company.

Riho, Starlight Kid & Hanan vs Saya Kamitani, Rina & Lady C

Lady C is the newest Stardom rookie to debut and the first homegrown Stardom talent to debut in 2020. She teams with Queen’s Quest members Hina and Kamitani here to take on Riho, Kid, and Hanan. Given it’s her debut we will likely see Lady C take the loss here but it will be interesting to see if Stardom has another prodigy on their hands.

Tam Nakano, Mina Shirakawa & ZZ vs Oedo Tai (Natsuko Tora, Saki Kashima & Rina)

ZZ debuts as Stardom continues to grow its roster. As Tam Nakano announced the debutant it’s likely we see her idol subgroup continue to grow with the addition of Himawari Unagi or Nao Kakuta. Nakano and co. will take on Oedo Tai and their newest member Rina, formerly of TCS. It’s up in the air as far as who wins this one but getting a debut and Rina’s new character will make this an interesting match.

High Speed Championship: AZM (C) vs Gokigen Death

Former High Speed Champion Gokigen Death gets a shot at AZM’s belt after a string of big wins that included pinning Mayu Iwatani and Giulia in tag team matches. While Death has been on a roll recently we expect AZM to come away from this one with a win as she already has a number of challengers waiting to get a shot at her.

Momo Watanabe vs Himeka

For the first time Himeka and Momo Watanabe will wrestle with nothing but pride on the line. Both could use a win to get back on track after some high profile losses but with the 15-minute time limit this is more liekly to end in a draw.

SWA Championship: Bea Priestley (C) vs Syuri

Syuri challenged Priestley to a match to commemorate her signing with Stardom full time. This will mark defense number one of Priestley’s title if she is successful. As a former World Champion you can never rule out a Priestley win especially as she is currently the strongest booked member in Oedo Tai. As much as we hate to say it, it would appear Syuri is on course for a second title challenge defeat in a row.

Wonder Of Stardom Championship: Giulia (C) vs Konami

This is set to be the third singles match between the two women since Stardom’s restart during the summer. Giulia won the first bout while Konami came away with the win in their second clash in the 5STAR Grand Prix. Since their last meeting Konami has joined Oedo Tai and debuted a new look and attitude. We don’t see anyone taking Giulia’s title anytime soon so this will likely end with a Giulia win.

World Of Stardom Championship: Mayu Iwatani (C) vs Utami Hayashishita

This is one of the biggest matches Stardom has put on in some time. The “Icon Of Stardom” Mayu Iwatani has been world champion for just under a year now and like she’s done for most of the past decade she has been the standard-bearer of Stardom throughout her run. Despite the odd 2020 we have experienced Iwatani has been one of the best wrestlers in the world and been a fantastic champion for Stardom. In this match, she meets the prodigy Utami Hayashishita. While Iwatani has been the torchbearer in Stardom over the last 10 years, Hayashishita is the woman who will lead Stardom as it’s torchbearer for the next decade. Since her debut in late 2018 Hayahsishita has been nothing short of successful, reaching the 5STAR Grand Prix finals twice – winning once, and winning six championships in her short career to date. Now, the past meets the future in a match that could establish a new ace of the company.

Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
