This proved to be both a victory and a tribute for Colon, who came out to \u201cWhat a Waster,\u201d the old entrance music of <strong>Danny Havoc<\/strong>. A deathmatch wrestler that was prominent in <strong>Combat Zone Wrestling<\/strong>, as well as the first-ever <em>Tournament of Survival<\/em> victor, Havoc passed away this past May. Furthermore, Colon previously came out on top in the fourth <em>Tournament of Survival<\/em>, which took place last year. Longtime GCW fans wondered if he could be the first two-time Tournament of Survival winner.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\">The path to the top was not going to be easy for Alex Colon, however.<\/h5>\n<p>In the first round, Colon bested <strong>SHLAK<\/strong>. This led Colon to the semifinals, where he faced <strong>Atticus Cogar<\/strong> in a winning effort. Ultimately, Colon found himself in the finals, taking on GCW World Champion <strong>Rickey Shane Page<\/strong>. Despite Page having fellow <strong>44OH<\/strong> teammate<strong> Gregory Iron<\/strong> in his corner, Colon was focused on becoming a two-time <em>Tournament of Survival<\/em> winner. Since his professional debut in 2007, he carved a name for himself in multiple promotions. In addition to Game Changer Wrestling, Colon has been a featured star in CZW and <strong>Rockstar Pro Wrestling<\/strong>, just to name a few locations. He&#8217;s also been a decorated star in many places he&#8217;s wrestled, securing such titles as the CZW Wired Championship in 2013 and multiple tag team championships in RPW.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\">As a two-time <em>Tournament of Survival<\/em> victor, Colon is no stranger to high-stakes tournaments, either.<\/h5>\n<p>Case and point, he competed in the third and fourth <strong>Nick Gage Invitational<\/strong> tournaments, even making it to the finals in the latter. His ability to take wrestling to the extreme, even at the cost of his own body, led him to these accolades.
