{"id":74222,"date":"2020-08-10T07:20:27","date_gmt":"2020-08-10T11:20:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/?p=74222"},"modified":"2020-08-10T07:21:30","modified_gmt":"2020-08-10T11:21:30","slug":"hanako-nakamori-yamashita-daily-sports-titles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/08\/10\/hanako-nakamori-yamashita-daily-sports-titles\/","title":{"rendered":"#AndNEW: Hanako Nakamori &#038; Rina Yamashita Win Daily Sports Tag Titles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 10th PURE-J celebrated it&#8217;s third anniversary while Openweight Champion\u00a0<strong>Leon\u00a0<\/strong>celebrated her twentieth year in wrestling.\u00a0 They ran a special show at Korakuen Hall which was headlined by a clash for the Daily Sports Tag Team Championships.\u00a0 Former Openweight Champion Hanako Nakamori and Rina Yamashita emerged as the new champions defeating\u00a0<strong>Makoto\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Moeka Haruhi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Nakamori was not without gold for long, she <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2020\/07\/26\/leon-pure-j-openweight-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lost her PURE-J Openweight title<\/a> to Leon just two weeks ago at Itabashi Green Hall and already has gold around her waist.\u00a0 Now she is not only a three-time Openweight champion but she is also a three-time holder of the Daily Sports Tag Team Championships, her first since 2017 when she held them alongside\u00a0<strong>Kyoko Kimura<\/strong>.\u00a0 Yamashita has become something of a tag specialist as this is the fourth different company she has held tag team titles in, the other three being\u00a0<strong>REINA, SEAdLINNNG,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>OZ Academy<\/strong>.\u00a0 Just one day after a brutal hardcore match with\u00a0<strong>Risa Sera\u00a0<\/strong>she was back at her best to help win the titles.<\/p>\n<p>The previous champions Haruhi and Makoto had held the titles for almost exactly one year winning them on August 11 2019, the duo had made a number of defences of the titles against various teams but they fell short to the physically imposing team of Yamashita and Nakamori.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stay tuned to the<a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/a>\u00a0for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
