He served as the special guest moderator for the AEW Super Wednesday Debate 2020, pitting <strong>Chris Jericho<\/strong> against <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2020\/07\/02\/the-ant-the-orange-the-yin-and-yang-of-orange-cassidy-fire-ant\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Orange Cassidy<\/a><\/strong> in a war of words. The questions he asked covered topics ranging from the feud between &#8220;Le Champion&#8221; and &#8220;Freshly Squeezed&#8221; to global warming. Ultimately, Bischoff awarded the debate to Cassidy, much to the chagrin of Jericho.<\/p>\n<p>This segment was significant in that it marked Eric Bischoff&#8217;s first appearance on TNT programming in roughly 20 years. Those that are familiar with the wrestling endeavors of &#8220;Eazy E&#8221; may remember him most from his time in <strong>World Championship Wrestling<\/strong>. He served numerous roles including commentator, on-screen performer, and executive producer and president. In 2002, in a shocking move, he debuted for <strong>World Wrestling Entertainment<\/strong> as the General Manager of RAW. It was in WWE that he became involved in various programs. These involved such stars as <strong>John Cena<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;Stone Cold&#8221; Steve Austin<\/strong>.\u00a0In fact, Bischoff faced and was defeated by Austin at <strong><em>No Way Out<\/em><\/strong> in 2004. The year after, Bischoff would part ways with WWE, though he would make sporadic appearances with the company after.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the endeavor Bischoff is best known for today is 83 Weeks, a podcast co-hosted alongside Conrad Thompson. 83 Weeks debuted in April of 2018 and has put out regular content ever since.
