But after two weeks went by, what was next for the rivals wasn&#8217;t clear. On Friday night, &#8220;The Fiend&#8221; made an actual appearance inside a WWE ring on SmackDown for the first time since <em><strong>WrestleMania 36<\/strong><\/em>, where he defeated <strong>John Cena<\/strong> in the <strong>Firefly Fun House<\/strong> match. And in that appearance, he abducted<strong> Alexa Bliss<\/strong> to send the message loud and clear to Braun Strowman that he is not done until he can recapture the Universal Championship.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u210c\ud835\udd22 found <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AlexaBliss_WWE?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@AlexaBliss_WWE<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SmackDown?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#SmackDown<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/TheFiend?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#TheFiend<\/a> @WWEBrayWyatt <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/UzViO8FqLM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/UzViO8FqLM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; WWE (@WWE) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WWE\/status\/1289382296601075712?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">August 1, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the night, Wyatt made clear that no one was safe as &#8220;The Fiend&#8221; was free. By the end of the night, that was a proven truth.<\/p>\n<p>Following <strong>Nikki Cross<\/strong>&#8216;s match with <strong>Bayley<\/strong> for the SmackDown Women&#8217;s Championship, Cross shoved Bliss to the ring mat as she was frustrated with yet another title match loss. Bliss was then left alone, and that&#8217;s when the lights began to go out as &#8220;The Fiend&#8221; would emerge. It was then as he walked around her and stared, before reaching his hand out and locking her into the mandible claw as the lights, and the show went off. This comes two weeks after Bliss was used as a mirage to Strowman during the Swamp Fight, as she appeared as Sister Abigail and teased &#8220;being together&#8221; with Strowman.<\/p>\n<p>No one truly knows what the future holds. but you have to believe that Strowman will be giving &#8220;The Fiend&#8221; his title match to try and save Bliss from the clutches of the dark figure.
