Cinderella Summer In Tokyo (7\/26\/20)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stardom returns to Korakuen Hall for the second time in July with a High Speed Championship defense and the crowning of the new Wonder Of Stardom Champion and Goddesses Of Stardom Champions.\u00a0 Stardom Cinderella Summer In Tokyo promises to be another good show so let&#8217;s get into this preview.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Hina vs Saki Kashima<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/4kQhXfF\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"source: imgur.com\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/4kQhXfF.jpg\" alt=\"Stardom Cinderella Summer In Tokyo\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a>Likely a tune-up win for Kashima to get some momentum under her belt as there&#8217;s no chance of Hina winning<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tokyo Cyber Squad (Rina &amp; Death Yama-San) vs Oedo Tai (Natsuko Tora &amp; Natsu Sumire)<a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/nILyXtb\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"source: imgur.com\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/nILyXtb.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Another match that will likely see Oedo Tai walk out with the win as Rina is the best candidate to take a pinfall here.\u00a0 Following their two defeats at\u00a0<em>Stardom Explode In Summer\u00a0<\/em>it&#8217;s a good decision to give Oedo Tai some momentum here and a one-sided win would help them out as neither Death or Rina would be hurt by such a loss.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Donna Del Mondo (Himeka &amp; Syuri) vs STARS (Saya Iida &amp; Mayu Iwatani)<a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/ICSWmRx\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"source: imgur.com\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/ICSWmRx.jpg\" alt=\"Cinderella Summer In Tokyo\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Based on recent results it would appear that Himeka and Syuri are the main tag team of Donna Del Mondo and are likely being built up to contest for the Goddesses Of Stardom championships in the future.\u00a0 With that in mind them getting the win here seems the most obvious move with Saya Iida there to take the fall.\u00a0 It&#8217;ll be good to see some Iida vs Himeka again too as they worked well together in Himeka&#8217;s Stardom debut.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Maika vs Momo Watanabe<a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/b2ol2ab\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"source: imgur.com\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/b2ol2ab.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Some singles action here as Donna Del Mondo&#8217;s Maika takes on Queen&#8217;s Quest&#8217;s Momo Watanabe.\u00a0 Maika is the designated pin taker of DDM thanks to her being the most inexperienced member so she will likely lose to the faction leader Watanabe here.\u00a0 Expect a close contest as the Future Of Stardom will at least be competitive in this one.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>High Speed Championship: Riho (C) vs AZM vs Starlight Kid<a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/AVjHeB0\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"source: imgur.com\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/AVjHeB0.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The high speed championship has not had the best time since Riho won it last year.\u00a0 Riho has only made one defence of the championship in her 340+ day reign.\u00a0 Stardom did seem to be building a challenger for her with the High Speed GP but unfortunately due to COVID-19 that never finished.\u00a0 This match is very unpredictable as all three women could feasibly win.\u00a0 Riho retaining is likely, but AZM or SLK pinning the other and kickstarting the title&#8217;s fortunes is also a possibility.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Goddesses Of Stardom Championship: Tokyo Cyber Squad (Jungle Kyona &amp; Konami) vs Queen&#8217;s Quest (Utami Hayashishita &amp; Saya Kamitani)<a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/XCM4yTX\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"source: imgur.com\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/XCM4yTX.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Due to travel restrictions the Oedo Tai duo of\u00a0<strong>Bea Priestley <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Jamie Hayter <\/strong>were unable to defend the titles which were then vacated.\u00a0 To crown new champions the former champs KyoNami take on the last number one contenders.\u00a0 The story being told pre-covid was Hayashishita being unable to defeat Hayter and Priestley, failing to do so alongside Watanabe, so expect QQ to pick up the win here to allow that story to continue once Priestley and Hayter can come back.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Wonder Of Stardom Championship: Giulia vs Tam Nakano<a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/sdcaNTz\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"source: imgur.com\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/sdcaNTz.jpg\" alt=\"Cinderella Summer In Tokyo\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The story here is simple.\u00a0 Tam Nakano&#8217;s former tag partner, rival and frenemy Arisa Hoshiki was<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2020\/05\/20\/arisa-hoshiki-retires\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> forced to retire<\/a> due to injuries.\u00a0 Hoshiki retired as Wonder Of Stardom Champion, Nakano had promised that it would be her to take that title from Hoshiki.\u00a0 Nakano is now desperate to win the championship not just for her but to keep her promise too.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">HoshikiSan Are you Watching?<br \/>Tam will Fulfill her Promise \ud83d\udc9c\ud83d\udc3c <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uRgq3jqvET\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/uRgq3jqvET<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash;
