Following a late change last week Friday Night Smackdown became an Undertaker<\/strong> tribute show and two segments previously advertised were moved to this week.\u00a0 So now this weeks SmackDown will feature\u00a0Sheamus’ <\/strong>toast to\u00a0Jeff Hardy<\/strong>, who bested\u00a0Baron Corbin<\/strong> last week, as well as\u00a0AJ Styles\u00a0<\/strong>defending his Intercontinental Championship against\u00a0Drew Gulak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sheamus Makes A Toast To Jeff Hardy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At Backlash\u00a0<\/em>Sheamus defeated Jeff Hardy in a hard fought battle.\u00a0 Now Sheamus holds a toast to Jeff Hardy and will likely rub his victory in the face of Hardy.\u00a0 These two seem far from done so expect Hardy to crash the party if Sheamus runs his mouth too much<\/div>\n

Michael Cole Interviews Matt Riddle<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a> Matt Riddle made an impactful SmackDown debut when he defeated AJ Styles in non-title action.\u00a0 It was a pretty big win for the newcomer.\u00a0 Now we get some follow up as Michael Cole will interview “The Bro” with the intention of figuring out what is next for Riddle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Intercontinental Championship: AJ Styles (C) vs Drew Gulak<\/strong><\/h3>\n

AJ Styles defeated\u00a0Daniel Bryan<\/strong>\u00a0in the finals of a tournament to become the new Intercontinental champion.\u00a0 On this edition of Friday Night SmackDown he makes defence number one against Bryan\u2019s coach\u00a0Drew Gulak.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This is an important defense for Styles as he needs to prove that he can elevate the IC title and return to his top spot in \u201cthe house that AJ Styles built\u201d.\u00a0 Styles is also coming off a loss to\u00a0Matt Riddle\u00a0<\/strong>who won\u2019t be too far and could set his sights on the IC title following his debut win.<\/p>\n
