Because it&#8217;s not AEW Dynamite at all.\u00a0 That&#8217;s right.\u00a0 This Wednesday (7\/1\/20) is <strong>All Elite Wrestling<\/strong>&#8216;s second annual<strong> AEW<\/strong><em><strong> Fyter Fest<\/strong><\/em> event; featuring a stacked card spread out over two weeks of television.\u00a0 What does this Wednesday&#8217;s &#8220;Night 1&#8221; have in store? Let&#8217;s find out!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy &amp; Luchasaurus) vs MJF &amp; Wardlow<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71516\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71516\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-71516\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/EbpCgypXgAAnTR8-e1593448174556.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71516\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AEW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kicking things off is a match months in the making.\u00a0<strong> Jurassic Express<\/strong> (<strong>Jungle Boy<\/strong> and <strong>Luchasaurus<\/strong>) take on the team of <strong>MJF<\/strong> and <strong>Wardlow<\/strong>.\u00a0 On last week&#8217;s episode of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow was successful in his monstrous lumberjack match brawl with Luchasaurus.\u00a0 Additionally, back at <em><strong>Double or Nothing 2020<\/strong><\/em>, MJF successfully pinned Jungle Boy.\u00a0 You would think that the odds, therefore, are in favor of MJF and Wardlow.\u00a0 You would be mistaken.\u00a0 Though Jurassic Express both lost their singles attempts at silencing the duo, they are a stronger, more cohesive unit.\u00a0 This match could go either way and it&#8217;s certain to be fun.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Santana &amp; <strong>Ortiz<\/strong>.\u00a0 That single blemish on their record will irk the <strong>Inner Circle<\/strong>&#8216;s experienced tag team.\u00a0 In recent months, they have feuded with &#8211; and have been tormented by &#8211; various forms of <strong>Matt Hardy<\/strong>.\u00a0 Hilariously, Matt Hardy terrorized the duo during <em>Double or Nothing 2020<\/em>&#8216;s &#8220;Stadium Stampede&#8221; match.\u00a0 Therefore, Matt Hardy being in Private Party&#8217;s corner provides Santana &amp; Ortiz with extra motivation to beat Private Party and silence the &#8220;Broken Warrior&#8221; once and for all.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AEW Women&#8217;s Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) vs Penelope Ford (w\/ Kip Sabian)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71517\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71517\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-71517\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/Ebn49I9WoAEwau_-e1593448241590.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71517\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AEW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At <em>Double or Nothing 2020<\/em>,<strong> Hikaru Shida<\/strong> brought <strong>Nyla Rose<\/strong>&#8216;s reign of terror to an end.\u00a0 In a superb bout of women&#8217;s wrestling, Shida proved that &#8211; right now &#8211; she is the best in AEW&#8217;s women division.\u00a0 <strong>Penelope Ford<\/strong> pinned Shida a couple of weeks ago, after <strong>Kip Sabian<\/strong> distracted the women&#8217;s champion and the referee &#8211; allowing Ford to take her out with the championship.\u00a0 Pin the champion, earn a title shot.\u00a0 At <em>Fyter Fest<\/em>, Ford has an opportunity to bring a premature end to Shida&#8217;s reign.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AEW World Tag Team Championships: Kenny Omega &amp; Hangman Page (c) vs Best Friends (Chuck Taylor &amp; Trent)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71514\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71514\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-71514\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/EbnUqEQWAAgqJuI-e1593448132559.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71514\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AEW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>You may remember that a few months back, <strong>Best Friends<\/strong> (<strong>Trent<\/strong> and<strong> Chuck Taylor<\/strong>) pinned the team of <strong>Kenny Omega<\/strong> and<strong> Michael Nakazawa<\/strong>.\u00a0 In doing so, they proved their friendship knows no bounds and the team name &#8220;Best Friends&#8221; is justified.\u00a0 Now they have a real opportunity to cement their claim to the moniker &#8211; by defeating Kenny Omega once more, though this time with tag team partner,<strong> Hangman Page<\/strong> and with the AEW Tag Team titles on the line.\u00a0 The tag team division has become crowded in recent months, with the likes of <strong>FTR<\/strong>, the <strong>Young Bucks<\/strong>, <strong>SCU<\/strong>, <strong>Dark Order<\/strong>, Private Party, Santana &amp; Ortiz and <strong>Le Sex Gods<\/strong> (<strong>Chris Jericho<\/strong> and S<strong>ammy Guevara<\/strong>) all bolstering the division.\u00a0 That&#8217;s not even including the <strong>Lucha Brothers<\/strong> (<strong>Pentagon Jr<\/strong> and <strong>Rey Fenix<\/strong>) who are out through COVID restrictions and injury.\u00a0 Do Best Friends deserve to be the kingpins of such a talented division?
