Their last PPW show was this past February before COVID hit, <em><strong>Southern Indiana Cadillac Combat<\/strong><\/em>, although they presented a co-production with <strong>MidwestTerritory.com<\/strong> in <em><strong>PAWCADE<\/strong><\/em> last week. He also made his debut with <strong>Beyond Wrestling <\/strong>this past fall, winning the Discovery Gauntlet in his first match. <strong>Dominic Garrini<\/strong>\u00a0was part of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2020\/03\/23\/drew-gulak-catch-point\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Catch Point<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>briefly in\u00a0<strong>EVOLVE Wrestling<\/strong>, but he\u2019s been a regular with Ohio\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW)<\/strong>\u00a0for some time. Originally starting as <strong>Sadkampf<\/strong>, Violence is Forever has become one of the East\u2019s top tag teams, also holding the\u00a0<strong>Pro Wrestling Freedoms (PWF)<\/strong> Tag Team titles in Indiana. The duo has also appeared for the likes of\u00a0Beyond Wrestling, Blac k Label Pro, ACTION Wrestling, and Canada\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Capital City Championship Combat (C4)<\/strong>. Ison is a set of fists worth paying attention to. Indiana&#8217;s own <strong>Bradley Prescott IV<\/strong> is another rising star in the Midwest, who has been a staple of Paradigm Pro for a couple of years now, as well as with <strong>Wild Championship Wrestling Outlaws (WCWO)<\/strong>. Since then he&#8217;s become a man on a mission in the US indies, even capturing the IWTV Championship briefly last year. He&#8217;s facing one of the most violent men in the US in <strong>Reed Bentley<\/strong>, one-half of\u00a0<strong>The Rejects <\/strong>(with <strong>Johny Wayne Murdoch<\/strong>), a former\u00a03x IWA Mid Sout<strong>h<\/strong>\u00a0Heavyweight Champion and 3x Tag Team Champion with The Rejects (IWA-MS, Paradigm Pro Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Hardcore Rules Street Fight: Ron Mathis vs. Bobby Beverly<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70494\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70494\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-70494\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/EX8P79oX0AAjq8U-e1591999874429.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70494\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Paradigm Pro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ohio&#8217;s <strong>Ron Mathis<\/strong> is a 12-year veteran of the Midwest, beginning in <strong>Les Thatcher<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA)<\/strong> before becoming a regular with <strong>Rockstar Pro<\/strong>, where he&#8217;s a former Rockstar Pro Champion. He&#8217;s also up for the rough stuff, having competed in the ultraviolent <strong>Hardcore Hustle Organization (H2O)<\/strong>, where he&#8217;s a former 2x H2O Heavyweight Champion. Earlier this year he won the PPW Tag Team Championship alongside <strong>Bruce Grey<\/strong> in <strong>DD Trash<\/strong>, but on Friday he&#8217;s going solo in a hardcore street fight against <strong>Bobby Beverly<\/strong>. Another Ohio and Midwest veteran, Beverly is a longtime regular with AIW (where he&#8217;s a 2x AIW Tag Team Champion with <strong>Eric Ryan<\/strong> in the <strong>Young Studs<\/strong> and former AIW Intense Champion) as well as in Pennsylvania&#8217;s <strong>Fight Society<\/strong> (formerly Pro Wrestling eXpress), where he&#8217;s a 2x Television Champion. Alongside <strong>Matthew Justice<\/strong> in <strong>The Lifers<\/strong>, he&#8217;s a former PPW Tag Team Champion as well, but like Mathis, this one will come down to two dudes in a singles street fight where anything goes.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Brawl For All Rules Super Fight: John Wayne Murdoch vs. Flash Thompson<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70493\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70493\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-70493\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/EX8IuIRWkAEfe_c-e1591999887573.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70493\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Paradigm Pro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>John Wayne Murdoch is one tough hombre, both as a singles wrestler and in tag team action with The Rejects alongside Reed Bentley. Murdoch is a 5x IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Champion and has held tag team gold with The Rejects in GCW, IWA Mid South, and PPW, and won the IWA-MS 2016 <em><strong>King of the Deathmatches<\/strong><\/em> Tournament. On Friday, he&#8217;s going up against an up-and-comer in\u00a0<strong>Flash Thompson<\/strong>, but with this fight under Brawl For All Rules (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/WWF_Brawl_for_All\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">per Wikipedia<\/a>: &#8220;Each match consisted of three one-minute rounds. Whichever\u00a0wrestler\u00a0connected with the most punches per round scored 5 points. In addition, a clean takedown scored 5 points and a knockdown was worth 10. If a\u00a0wrestler was knocked out (decided by an eight-count rather than a ten-count), the match ended.&#8221;), Thompson&#8217;s background in MMA fighting may give him the edge.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>UWFI Rules: AJ Gray vs. Aaron Williams<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71248\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71248\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-71248\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/EbSa9DQXQAAfutF-e1593032254418.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71248\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Paradigm Pro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>AJ Gray<\/strong> emerged out of 2019 as one of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/07\/16\/indie-watch-rich-homie-juice-aj-gray\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the top new stars in the US indies<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/12\/10\/andnew-aj-gray-rickey-shane-page-win-gcw-world-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dethroning <strong>Nick Gage<\/strong> for the GCW World Championship<\/a> after Gage&#8217;s record-setting 722-day reign. Gray has continued to impress with the likes of Beyond Wrestling, Glory Pro (where he&#8217;s the reigning Crown of Glory Champion), AIW, and IWA Mid-South. He&#8217;s no stranger to Indiana&#8217;s scene either, being a former PPW Champion and Black Label Pro Midwest Champion. He&#8217;s heading into a UWFI rules fight against another tough competitor from the Midwest scene in 16-year veteran <strong>Aaron Williams<\/strong>, who has cruised the rings with the likes of IWA Mid South, Rockstar Pro, St. Louis Anarchy and many more throughout his career. Williams is also a former 6x IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion and one of the new trainers at <strong>Zachary Wentz<\/strong>&#8216; new <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2020\/07\/01\/zachary-wentz-launches-believe-wrestling-academy\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Believe Wrestling Academy<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Hardcore Rules Street Fight: Matthew Justice vs. Stephan Bonnar<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70492\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70492\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-70492\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/EX8arbBXsAEVH8z-e1591999902148.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"301\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70492\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Paradigm Pro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This card is stacked with so many great match-ups, with heavy hitters (as the name suggests) that are known as being some of the toughest brawlers in the US indie circuit. <strong>Matthew Justice<\/strong> has made a huge name for himself over the past two years after an impressive 14-year career. He&#8217;s the reigning AIW Absolute and AIW Intense Champion and continues to reak havoc in the likes of GCW, Beyond Wrestling, <strong>ICW No Holds Barred<\/strong>, and more, including PPW, where he&#8217;s a former PPW Tag Team Champion. Justice is known for being fearless and that will be an asset as he faces a legit UFC legend in <strong>Stephan Bonnar<\/strong>. Bonnar, who also competed for Bellator, retired in 2014 with a 15-9 pro MMA record, and his 2013 fight against\u00a0<strong>Forrest Griffin<\/strong>\u00a0was entered into the fight wing of the UFC Hall of Fame. He made his pro wrestling debut in 2017 with\u00a0<strong>House of Glory<\/strong>\u00a0and went on to a run with\u00a0<strong>IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong>\u00a0in late 2019 against\u00a0<strong>Moose<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>UWFI Rules: &#8220;Filthy&#8221; Tom Lawlor vs. Calvin Tankman<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71251\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71251\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-71251\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/EbIOPOjXQAIGttm-e1593032357656.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71251\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Paradigm Pro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another former UFC fighter who transitioned gracefully into pro wrestling, <strong>&#8220;Filthy&#8221; Tom Lawlor<\/strong> has been one of the faces of <strong>Major League Wrestling (MLW)<\/strong> since its reboot a few years ago, and is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion. He also recently made his debut for <strong>New Japan Pro Wrestling<\/strong>. Lawlor will be getting a sneak preview of a hoss that <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2020\/06\/24\/calvin-tankman-mlw\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recently signed to MLW<\/a> in Calvin Tankman. A mainstay with IWA Mid South since 2016, and a former IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion, Tankman has been a wrecking crew throughout the US indies, with the likes of GCW, AIW,<strong>\u00a0EMERGE Wrestling,\u00a0<\/strong>and Indiana\u2019s PPW and Bizarro Lucha, where he\u2019s the current reigning BL Luchaversal Champion.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>UWFI Rules: Chris Dickinson vs. Lee Moriarty<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70497\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70497\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-70497\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/06\/EZ8_wSNXkAE0pFi-e1591999839399.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70497\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Paradigm Pro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Chris Dickinson<\/strong> was arguably one of the US indies&#8217; MVPs of 2019 with an outstanding resume of big fights in Beyond Wrestling, GCW, ICW-NHB, Black Label Pro, and more. He&#8217;s returned to the circuit following the pandemic shut down and continues to prove why he&#8217;s one of the absolute best in the world today. He made a huge splash recently in GCW when he went toe to toe with Nick Gage, and on Friday he heads into a UWFI Rules Superfight as he defends his title against <strong>Freddie Hudson<\/strong>. Hudson is a rising star in PPW, debuting in 2015, and getting more impressive every year.
