WWE NXT<\/strong> is back following a majorly successful NXT TakeOver: In Your House<\/strong><\/em> at the weekend.\u00a0 What a show it was! Adam Cole<\/strong> successfully fended off The Velveteen Dream<\/strong> (more on that later) in a Backlot Brawl.\u00a0 Perhaps more headline-worthy was Io Shirai<\/strong>‘s surprise victory over Charlotte Flair<\/strong> and Rhea Ripley<\/strong> in an excellent<\/em> women’s match, seeing the Joshi Judas capture the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time.\u00a0 This week’s show will see much of the fallout from that event take place.\u00a0 In what has become typical NXT fashion, however, only two matches have been announced in advance.\u00a0 Let’s dive in and take a look!<\/p>\n

Finn Balor vs Cameron Grimes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You might recall that The Prince, Finn Balor<\/strong>, suffered a somewhat surprising defeat last month.\u00a0 With the help of the Archer of Infamy, Damien Priest<\/strong>, Cameron Grimes<\/strong> pulled off the biggest win of his NXT career.\u00a0 We all know that Grimes is good, but Balor is a certified star – the first WWE Universal Champion and arguably the greatest NXT Champion of all time.\u00a0 Therefore, Grimes’ victory was a major upset.\u00a0 Now that Balor has defeated Priest at the most recent NXT TakeOve<\/em>r, can he gain the retribution he craves? Can Grimes really defeat The Prince without outside interference? The odds are certainly in Balor’s favor.\u00a0 That being said, we said that last time and Grimes pulled off the upset.\u00a0 Will this be the same? Tune into NXT to find out.<\/p>\n

Has anyone seen Roderick Strong<\/strong> and Bobby Fish<\/strong>? Seriously, we are all concerned.\u00a0 During the brutal Backlot Brawl bout between Adam Cole and The Velveteen Dream, Dexter Lumis<\/strong> turned up; throwing Cole’s Undisputed Era<\/strong> comrades into the trunk of his car, before driving off into the night.\u00a0 We all know that Lumis is no ordinary man.\u00a0 Just last week, he drew a (surprisingly impressive) picture of himself driving a pickup truck, with the Undisputed Era tied up and beaten in the back.\u00a0 He’s a morally disturbing man, possessing size, strength and a currently unmatched fear-factor.\u00a0 Days removed from his brawl with The Dream, can Cole see off the threat of Lumis? This is a non-title match, so one must think Lumis wins and earns a number one contender spot.\u00a0 Tune into NXT on USA Network this Wednesday<\/em>!<\/p>\n
