Last time, we saw the Twitter-voted MVP of ChocoPro season one, Yuna Mizumori, realize her sweet destiny. Following her victory in the post-show janken (rock paper scissors) tournament, she won the celebratory chocolate. Before Yunamon could indulge, however, it was stolen from her by Emi Sakura. Though many could argue this was karma, following Mizumori’s theft of Mei Suruga‘s chocolate weeks prior, it’s safe to say the relationship between Mizumori and Sakura has only become more volatile.

Despite this, the show must go on. This week’s episode of ChocoPro will prominently feature two matches. Will Mitsuru Konno, who recently made her Gatoh Move debut, pick up a victory that eluded her last time? Regardless of their differences, will Gatoh Move’s founder and the energetic “Pineapple Girl” be able to get on the same page? Here’s a rundown on what to expect on episode twenty.

Photo / Twitter @Mizm0ri

Mitsuru Konno vs. Tokiko Kirihara

Following the return of Mitsuru Konno on episode eighteen of ChocoPro, many fans were excited. She had been out of action for an extended period following wisdom tooth extraction and her presence was sorely missed. As one of the stalwarts of Gatoh Move, Konno has brought not only her impressive flexibility and general talent but experience to boot. Last time, she faced Antonio Honda in a losing effort. This time, the beer-loving “Leader” of Gatoh Move is set to make things right.

Though Konno will be facing her junior in the professional wrestling scene, she shouldn’t expect this match to be an easy one. Tokiko Kirihara has become one of the hungriest wrestlers in Gatoh Move, especially following the introduction of ChocoPro. Kirihara has experienced her own struggles, however, as she hasn’t won a single ChocoPro match. These losses are likely to serve as motivation, as the former kickboxer endeavors to continue to derail Konno’s return run. Expect equal parts malleability and hard-hitting strikes to take place in this one-on-one encounter.

Choco Stealers (Yuna Mizumori and Emi Sakura) vs. Best Bros. (Baliyan Akki and Mei Suruga)

To say that this match features contrasting team dynamics would be an understatement. On one side of the equation is the team of Baliyan Akki and Mei Suruga, collectively and affectionately known as Best Bros. These two longtime friends have worked incredibly well together; on the eighteenth episode of ChocoPro, they scored a huge win over Yuna Mizumori and Minoru Fujita. Akki and Suruga’s dynamic is rock solid. When they work together, they are on the same page. Victory is all but within reach for Best Bros.

.@EmiSakura_gtmv has broken Yunamon's heart all over again! 🍫 #ChocoPro #gtmv

➡️ https://t.co/MUiCYJPyax pic.twitter.com/GBrzjf7lsq

— TDE Wrestling (@tde_gif) June 6, 2020

Conversely, Mizumori and Emi Sakura’s partnership can best be described as volatile, as mentioned earlier. In fact, most of Mizumori’s recent attitude was birthed from Sakura. In the past, Sakura constantly encouraged Gatoh Move’s “Power Fighter” to find her real self. Granted, this feud of sorts has resulted in more comedic moments. When Sakura attempted to will Mizumori into a rope break through song, for example, it was easy for the viewer to sit back and laugh.
