If you&#8217;ve been following these previews and the shows themselves, you&#8217;ll feel how the year is just flying by.\u00a0 With everything that is going on in the world currently, these shows provide something of a distraction.\u00a0 For all the <strong>WWE<\/strong>&#8216;s faults, they deserve credit for providing us with entertainment.\u00a0 This week&#8217;s episode of <strong>Monday Night RAW<\/strong> looks set to be another good one.\u00a0 What does the red brand have in store? Let&#8217;s dive in and find out!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Apollo Crews US Open Challenge<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-69559\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/05\/Apollo-Crews-Open-Challenge-e1590835191503.jpg\" alt=\"Monday Night RAW\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Apollo Crews<\/strong> shocked the world last week.\u00a0 Having been in the WWE for over five years, this was the moment he <em>finally<\/em> captured some WWE gold.\u00a0 Well deserved, too, as Crews is freakishly talented.\u00a0 In beating <strong>Andrade<\/strong>, he captured the United States Championship for the first time.\u00a0 In what was once a weekly tradition under <strong>John Cena<\/strong>, Apollo has issued a US Open Challenge.\u00a0 Who awaits the newly crowned champion? A RAW mainstay? Or perhaps someone from <strong>NXT<\/strong>? Who knows.\u00a0 Tune-in to find out who this mystery challenger is.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Asuka vs Charlotte Flair<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-69560\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/05\/Asuka-vs-Charlotte-Flair-e1590835259182.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><\/p>\n<p>Since capturing the NXT Women&#8217;s Championship at <em><strong>WrestleMania XXXVI<\/strong><\/em>, <strong>Charlotte Flair<\/strong> has been hell-bent on appearing on all brands.\u00a0 We have no idea how she manages this with the supposed brand split, of course, but it&#8217;s probably because she&#8217;s a Flair.\u00a0 Woo.\u00a0 Anyway, <strong>Asuka<\/strong> succeeded <strong>Becky Lynch<\/strong> as RAW Women&#8217;s Champion a few weeks back.\u00a0 With Lynch gone for the foreseeable future to have a child, Asuka was the natural successor.\u00a0 She has been one of the stand-out performers during these crowd-less shows and deserves her current spot.\u00a0 Who wins here? Asuka is feuding with <strong>Nia Jax<\/strong>, who defeated Charlotte and<strong> Natalya<\/strong> last week in a triple threat match.\u00a0 With Asuka in the midst of a feud with Jax, there is potential for interference. Similarly, Charlotte is feuding with <strong>Rhea Ripley<\/strong> and<strong> Io Shirai<\/strong>.\u00a0 It is hard to envision this match ending clean.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Seth Rollins vs Aleister Black<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-69561\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/05\/Aleister-Black-vs-Seth-Rollins-e1590835341626.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\"><\/p>\n<p>What a turn around <strong>Seth Rollins<\/strong> has had.\u00a0 Just a few short months ago, he was a struggling babyface.\u00a0 After somehow having managed to lose all momentum and support from the crowd, Rollins turned heel.\u00a0 Since transitioning into the role of Monday Night Messiah, he has re-established himself as one of the top (if not<em> the<\/em> top) guys on RAW.\u00a0 Good matches, excellent character and sound storytelling has led to the renewed Seth Rollins we see today.\u00a0 Step up, <strong>Aleister Black<\/strong>.\u00a0 Black has been embroiled in this feud against <strong>Murphy<\/strong> and Rollins for a while now.\u00a0 Backing up <strong>Rey Mysterio<\/strong>, Black is a formidable foe of the Monday Night Messiah.\u00a0 If there&#8217;s anyone who is going to stand up to this false prophet, it&#8217;s probably the guy with sympathy for the devil.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t miss this match.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Rey Mysterio Retirement Ceremony<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-69284 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/05\/Rey-Mysterio-Retirement-Ceremony-e1590487427218.jpg\" alt=\"Monday Night RAW\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Does anyone actually think Rey Mysterio is retiring here? Me neither.\u00a0 However, in a traditional heel move, Seth Rollins has promised to hold a retirement ceremony for the legendary luchadore.\u00a0 What happens here? We don&#8217;t know.\u00a0 Will Rey interfere? Very likely.\u00a0 There are rumors that this potentially leads to Rey&#8217;s son, Dominic, donning the iconic mask.\u00a0 We don&#8217;t deal in rumors here, but that might be fun to see.\u00a0 Regardless, you should tune-in to find out what happens!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Not Announced But Expected<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; Follow Up On <strong>Lashley<\/strong> and <strong>McIntyre<\/strong>&#8216;s Brawl<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; What game is next for the<strong> Raiders<\/strong> and<strong> Profits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Have <strong>MVP<\/strong>&#8216;s words got to the <strong>Street Profits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The <strong>Iiconics<\/strong> are gunning for <strong>Alexa Bliss<\/strong> and <strong>Nikki Cross<\/strong>&#8216; titles<\/p>\n<p>Overall, RAW looks pretty good this week.\u00a0 Following a very fun (though controversial) edition of SmackDown last Friday, WWE might be entering something of a solid run of form.\u00a0 Can they continue the run here?
