WWE<\/strong> returns with another behind-closed-doors edition of Monday Night RAW<\/strong>.\u00a0 This is the first episode following Becky Lynch<\/strong>‘s bombshell<\/em> announcement<\/a> last week.\u00a0 Much of the fallout from the announcement will probably take place tonight.\u00a0 That being said, what does this week’s RAW have in-store for you? Well, let’s dive in and find out.<\/p>\n

Street Profits And Viking Raiders to Face Off…. In An Axe-Throwing Contest<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Where do we even begin with this one? This might just be the first ever axe-throwing contest we have covered here at Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/strong>.\u00a0 In fact, it almost certainly is.\u00a0 In a clear contest of strength, the Street Profits<\/strong> (Montez Ford<\/strong> and Angelo Dawkins<\/strong>) take on the Viking Raiders <\/strong>(Erik<\/strong> and Ivar<\/strong>) in an axe-throwing contest.\u00a0 An axe-throwing contest.\u00a0 The physical, literal throwing of an actual axe.\u00a0 Thankfully there is no audience in attendance.\u00a0 We’ll see who comes out on top between the more axe-friendly Vikings and the hype men.<\/p>\n

Women’s Tag Team Championship: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (C) vs The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alexa Bliss<\/strong> and Nikki Cross<\/strong> became two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania XXXVI<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 The IIconics<\/strong> (Billie Kay<\/strong> and Peyton Royce<\/strong>) were the second ever holders of the titles – dropping the belts to Bliss and Cross at WrestleMania XXXV<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Just last week, they made their long-awaited return to RAW, where they appeared on on a special edition of “A Moment of Bliss”.\u00a0 The two teams then had a non-title match, with the IIconics grabbing the victory.\u00a0 As is usually the case, those who defeat the champions get a title shot and that’s where we are.\u00a0 Can the iconic Australian duo reclaim their gold? You’ll have to tune in to find out.<\/p>\n

Drew McIntyre vs Smackdown’s King Corbin<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In a SmackDown<\/strong> versus RAW type match, RAW’s WWE Universal Champion, Drew McIntyre<\/strong> comes face-to-face with SmackDown’s King Corbin<\/strong>.\u00a0 Drew has been killing it as of late.\u00a0 He has truly established himself as a top babyface and it’s only a shame he doesn’t have a crowd in attendance.\u00a0 They would be eating out the palm of his hand right now.\u00a0 Whereas McIntyre has been killing it, Corbin has been killing people.\u00a0 At Money in the Bank 2020<\/strong><\/em>, he seemingly attempted to throw Aleister Black<\/strong> and Rey Mysterio<\/strong> off the top of Titan Tower.\u00a0 Thankfully, there was a platform there to save the day… and their lives.\u00a0 Now these two giants meet in the ring for an ultimate battle of good versus evil.\u00a0 What will happen? Some kind of foul play is to be expected (is Seth Rollins<\/strong> really finished with Drew?) Ultimately, we will have to tune into USA Network to find out.<\/p>\n

Not Announced But Expected<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As has been the case with WWE shows recently, only a few segments have been announced in advance.\u00a0 Here is a collection of events which might take place on tonight’s RAW.<\/p>\n

– A new direction for the women’s division<\/p>\n

– Follow up on Randy Orton<\/strong>‘s challenge to Edge<\/strong><\/p>\n

– What did Bobby Lashley<\/strong> want to talk about with MVP<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

– Will a depressed Seth Rollins maim anyone this week?<\/p>\n

These are all storylines expected to be continued tonight.\u00a0 In order to know what continues, what ends and what begins, you will have to tune into WWE RAW on USA Network<\/em> at 20:00 EST.<\/p>\n
