Helps that Eri is itty bitty. <a href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/ZkZu1FEA0r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/ZkZu1FEA0r<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Puro Central Shop (@purocentralshop) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/purocentralshop\/status\/640934124669288450?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">September 7, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Takumi Iroha would leave Stardom in 2015 to become a full-time roster member with Marvelous.\u00a0 She was earmarked as the protege of the legendary <strong>Chigusa Nagayo<\/strong>, who&#8217;s other protege is the icon <strong>Meiko Satomura<\/strong>.\u00a0 Iroha idolized Nagayo so the opportunity to work with Nagayo as her right-hand woman was just too much to pass up.\u00a0 Iroha would now regularly team with Chigusa Nagayo and became a respected performer in the Joshi scene.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Takumi Iroha suplexes Mayu&#39;s lifeless body<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/%E3%82%B9%E3%82%BF%E3%83%BC%E3%83%80%E3%83%A0?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#\u30b9\u30bf\u30fc\u30c0\u30e0<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/stLeOYq4Yc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/stLeOYq4Yc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; R\u00f8y (@narukiroy) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/narukiroy\/status\/1229229486677295104?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">February 17, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It wouldn&#8217;t be until 2018 that Takumi Iroha would taste singles gold &#8211; in large part due to Marvelous not having titles &#8211; as she won the Regina Di WAVE championship by defeating\u00a0<strong>Misaki Ohata<\/strong>.\u00a0 This was the year when Iroha began gaining more attention for being an excellent worker as her matches in places like WAVE, SEAdLINNNG, and <strong>Sendai Girls\u00a0<\/strong>were giving her a reputation as one of the best workers in Joshi.\u00a0 \u00a0Another match that caught people&#8217;s eyes was Iroha&#8217;s battle with\u00a0<strong>Mayu Iwatani\u00a0<\/strong>at Marvelous&#8217; first-ever Korakuen Hall show.\u00a0 Not only did this cross-promotional battle main event the show it exceeded all expectations and delivered a match worthy of main eventing Marvelous&#8217; first trip to Korakuen.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_47382\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-47382\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-47382\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/W-Title-Portrait.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"553\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/W-Title-Portrait.jpg 400w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/W-Title-Portrait-217x300.jpg 217w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/W-Title-Portrait-304x420.jpg 304w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-47382\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: SEAdLINNNG<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>2019 would prove to be a career year for Takumi Iroha as she had multiple Match Of The Year contenders across various promotions.\u00a0 She won the Beyond The Sea Championship in SEAdLINNNG defeating veteran\u00a0<strong>Nanae Takahashi\u00a0<\/strong>in an excellent match and becoming a two-time Regina Di WAVE Champion by winning the Catch The WAVE Tournament defeating <strong>Nagisa Nozaki\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Ryo Mizunami\u00a0<\/strong>in the final.\u00a0 Iroha&#8217;s second reign would be longer than her first and is filled with more memorable matches including any involving her and Mizunami.\u00a0 Not only was Iroha fantastic in other promotions but her work in her home promotion of Marvelous was brilliant.\u00a0 The main storyline of the company was the first crop of Marvelous trainees attempting to get a win over the company&#8217;s figurehead Iroha.\u00a0 This provided us with several excellent matches as Iroha took on the role of the cocky veteran which played naturally with her physical in-ring style to get the fans behind the trainees.\u00a0 This all culminated in what this writer considers the 2019 match of the year as Iroha took on\u00a0<strong>Mio Momono\u00a0<\/strong>in Momono&#8217;s first match back after 11 months on the sideline with an injury.\u00a0 Iroha ended 2019 by once again headlining Korakuen Hall when she would take on and defeat her idol Chigusa Nagayo and in a post-match angle was publicly handed the reigns of Marvelous as she took over the day to day running of the company.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64478\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64478\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64478\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/Mayu-Iwatani-vs-Takumi-Iroha-e1583856091779.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64478\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Stardom<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Coming off of her excellent 2019 Takumi Iroha was considered one of the world&#8217;s best by those who had seen her perform.\u00a0 In early 2020 she drove that point home when she returned to Stardom to defeat Mayu Iwatani at\u00a0<em>The Way To Major League<\/em> in an early Match Of The Year contender that gained buzz outside of the Joshi bubble.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Recommended Matches<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>Takumi Iroha vs Mayu Iwatani<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u5f69\u7fbd\u5320vs\u5ca9\u8c37\u9ebb\u512a\u30002018\u5e748\u67088\u65e5 \u5f8c\u697d\u5712\u30db\u30fc\u30eb #Marvelouspro\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UBSestaVhII?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
