On Thursday morning, GCW revealed the 16 entrants to the second edition of the Acid Cup, with previous winner, AEW star <strong>Joey Janela<\/strong>, providing commentary for the two night tournament. With no audience in attendance due to the current COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the event will be counting on fans to support the wrestlers involved.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/gcw-presents-the-acid-cup-airing-live-on-iwtv--2#\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GCW has set up an Indie Gogo page<\/a>\u00a0where 100% of the donations will go to the wrestlers performing at the tournament. The King of American Hardcore and leader of the &#8220;gang affilaited&#8221; MDK (all f**king day), <strong>Nick Gage<\/strong> held the GCW World title for 722-days until his feud with current champ <strong>Rickey Shane Page<\/strong> derailed his reign. He recently brought his indie stable, <strong>Young Dumb N&#8217; Broke (YDNB)<\/strong>, to GCW and if they follow him to the tournament, they&#8217;ll probably do everything in their power to propel him to a good showing.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65115\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65115\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65115\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/AC10-e1584630522775.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65115\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;The Different Boy&#8221; in GCW has been arguably the company&#8217;s most versatile performer the past few years, rising from a young deathmatch wrestler to working with just about anyone GCW brings in. This could be his big year and winning the Acid Cup would be a great jumpstart to 2020.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65114\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65114\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65114\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/AC9-e1584630538920.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65114\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Very few had the past year that the &#8220;Dirty Daddy&#8221; had on the US indie scene. 18-year pro\u00a0<strong>Chris Dickinson<\/strong> had a tremendous 2019 as the MVP of\u00a0<strong>Beyond Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>and their first two seasons of\u00a0<em><strong>Uncharted Territory<\/strong><\/em><em>, <\/em>not to mention his body of work with GCW,\u00a0<strong>Bar Wrestling<\/strong>, and Japan.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65113\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65113\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65113\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/AC8-e1584630559764.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65113\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Matthew Justice<\/strong> has conquered the Midwest, as the reigning <strong>Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW)<\/strong> dual champion, holding both the AIW Absolute and AIW Intense Championship. A big man with unbridled athleticism and grit, he&#8217;ll be looking to do some damage in the Acid Cup.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65112\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65112\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65112\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/AC7-e1584630574807.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65112\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>KTB\u00a0<\/strong>missed out on the 2016 Acid Cup tournament, but he was still on the card &#8211; at the time, KTB was the reigning GCW World Champion and defended his crown against <strong>MASADA<\/strong>. This time the longtime GCW regular will be entering the field himself and looking to prove he&#8217;s still a major threat in Game Changer Wrestling.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65111\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65111\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65111\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/AC6-e1584630591469.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65111\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Pinkie Sanchez\u00a0<\/strong>is a veteran of the first Acid Cup in 2016 and made it all the way to the finals. He outlasted <strong>Drew Blood, Matt MacIntosh<\/strong>, and <strong>Steve Scott<\/strong> in the first round four-way, then beat Mexico&#8217;s <strong>Laredo Kid<\/strong> in the semi-finals, before losing to Janela in the final match. The &#8220;Cornfed Cowboy&#8221; is a regular with Iowa&#8217;s <strong>SCW Pro Wrestling<\/strong> (where&#8217;s he&#8217;s the Heavyweight Champion), but in the past year has exploded working with the likes of GCW, <strong>Black Label Pro<\/strong>, AIW, <strong>Glory Pro<\/strong>, and a whole host of other top US indies.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65109\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65109\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65109\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/AC4-e1584630621286.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65109\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Shane Mercer\u00a0<\/strong>has had a great year as well, moving from being just a regular with <strong>IWA Mid South<\/strong> to working across the nation with GCW, Beyond,\u00a0<strong>Black Label Pro<\/strong>\u00a0and others. He went viral last year when he was caught on tape\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/12\/02\/indie-wrestler-shane-mercer-uses-bleachers-as-weapon-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">using an entire section of bleachers<\/a>\u00a0as a weapon, but his freak strength is just part of an arsenal that includes great athleticism as well.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65108\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65108\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65108\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/AC3-e1584630639435.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65108\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Lucky 13<\/strong> is a 16-year pro from New Jersey who is best remembered for a six-year run with <strong>Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong>, where he was a 2x CZW World Tag Team Champion with\u00a0<strong>Nation of Intoxication<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0<strong>Danny Havoc<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Devon Moore<\/strong>. Lucky 13 also held the <strong>Hardcore Hustle Organization (H2O)<\/strong> Heavyweight Champion for 287-days last year and this past weekend won the H2O Hybrid Championship. He was originally scheduled to make his GCW debut at\u00a0<em><strong>Jimmy Lloyd&#8217;s D-Generation F<\/strong><\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>show over WrestleMania Week until all events were cancelled, but now the young stud will be looking to impress in the Acid Cup.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65106\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65106\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-65106\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/AC1-e1584630668407.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65106\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Cole Radrick\u00a0<\/strong>is a 22-year old who has been honing his craft with IWA Mid South, <strong>Rockstar Pro, Paradigm Pro Wrestling (PPW)<\/strong>, Black Label Pro, and others. The current reigning PPW Champion, he&#8217;s held the title for 118-days, taking it from another GCW regular in\u00a0<strong>AJ Gray<\/strong>.
