This edition will be focusing on Tam Nakano a rising star with a bright future.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tam Nakano has been a part of the Stardom roster for a few years now, first as part of the most popular incarnation of Oedo Tai, and now as a member of STARS who improves every time we see her.\u00a0 With her recent big win over\u00a0<strong>Kagetsu, <\/strong>it would seem Tam Nakano is set for big things in the near future so it&#8217;s as good a time as any to take a look at the career of the quirky, talented woman.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/i\/status\/1184311340875288578<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Background &amp; Debut<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64788\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/BVomGLWCEAAXw5Z-e1584224492856.jpg\" alt=\"Katamomi Joshi\" width=\"587\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/BVomGLWCEAAXw5Z-e1584224492856.jpg 587w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/BVomGLWCEAAXw5Z-e1584224492856-300x181.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 587px) 100vw, 587px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tam Nakano was a dancer before becoming a wrestler.\u00a0 She was a member of idol group Katamomi Joshi and was inolved in performances on <strong>Actwres girl&#8217;Z (AgZ)\u00a0<\/strong>shows.\u00a0 It was here that she would train under Stardom alumni\u00a0<strong>Yuna Manase<\/strong>.\u00a0 With her background in dancing and training in Kung Fu Nakano was a natural fit to become a wrestler, especially in the AgZ environment where they often train entertainers to be talented pro wrestlers.\u00a0 Just under a year after joining AgZ Nakano left the promotion to become a freelancer<\/p>\n<p>Whilst she was in AgZ Nakano also branched out to other promotions, specifically\u00a0<strong>Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>(i.e the infamous\u00a0<strong>FMW<\/strong>) including competing in a Lumberjack Deathmatch during <strong>Atsushi Onita<\/strong>&#8216;s retirement tour.\u00a0 Despite her cute appearance and dancing background Tam has always had an affinity for violence and would later be involved in an exploding bat deathmatch in Stardom.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tumblr-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/embed.tumblr.com\/embed\/post\/t:RkCui2p7mYUl1gUMdSzV_w\/173074357277\/v2\" data-did=\"da39a3ee5e6b4b0d3255bfef95601890afd80709\"  ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tumblr.com\/frentique\/173074357277\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.tumblr.com\/frentique\/173074357277<\/a><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/assets.tumblr.com\/post.js?_v=38df9a6ca7436e6ca1b851b0543b9f51\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Stardom: Oedo Tai<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-58856\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/12\/Oedo-Tai-e1575316990963.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\"><\/p>\n<p>Just one month later Nakano would appear in Stardom for the first time, making it known that she would compete in the 5STAR Grand Prix.\u00a0 Tam Nakano would become a member of Oedo Tai not long after the GP and in November signed with Stardom.\u00a0 During her time in Oedo Tai they became the most popular faction in Stardom with the interplay between characters and their darker, cooler look making them instant favorites.\u00a0 In January 2018 Nakano was forced to leave the stable after losing to Quen&#8217;s Quest in a faction vs faction gauntlet match.\u00a0 An emotional Nakano promised to restart following the defeat and was snatched away by <strong>Mayu Iwatani\u00a0<\/strong>to join the Stardom Army (which would become STARS)<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tam Nakano&#39;s producer, P-chan, joins in the Oedo Tai dance <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/stardom?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#stardom<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jocf1apoEu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/jocf1apoEu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Shinmaru (@Shinmaru) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Shinmaru\/status\/997153857221181440?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">May 17, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Stardom: STARS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_44169\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-44169\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-44169\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/04\/STARS-e1555325912368.jpg\" alt=\"Weekly Wonder World Of Stardom\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-44169\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Stardom<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As a member of STARS we saw a new Tam Nakano emerge, gone was the dark look and heelish ways, in its stead was a bright, energetic fighter that became more goofy the more time she spent around Mayu Iwatani.\u00a0 Tam Nakano grew and added more and more moves to her arsenal as time went on, especially once\u00a0<strong>Arisa Hoshiki<\/strong> came into the fold.\u00a0 Nakano has grown into a unique and entertaining performer whose character work is second to none, her in ring work is of a high quality too as evidenced by her match with Hoshiki.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A_F5ac-GFzY<\/p>\n<p>In December 2019 the leader of Oedo Tai\u00a0<strong>Kagetsu\u00a0<\/strong>announced her retirement from wrestling.\u00a0 One month later she faced Tam Nakano at Stardom&#8217;s <em>9th Anniversary Show<\/em>, two years after Tam was forced out of Oedo Tai and promised to restart.\u00a0 Tam Nakano defeated Kagetsu, surpassing her former leader and finally being free of her past.\u00a0 With that win under her belt, we should see Tam Nakano break out soon and potentially win the Wonder Of Stardom championship from Hoshiki.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Striking battle with arisa one of best matches of year for me <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/LJpkjmtFTY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/LJpkjmtFTY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash;
