Some Philly natives join the usual cast of characters from GCW, with the special Thursday night event <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fite.tv\/watch\/gcw-the-wrld-on-gcw\/2p6g2\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">available live on FITE.tv<\/a> at 8pm EST.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>YDNB (Ellis Taylor, Charlie Tiger &amp; Griffin McCoy) vs. 44.OH (Atticus Cogar, Eddy Only &amp; Gregory Iron)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64450\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64450\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64450\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/ESJcYB-WAAMPJiQ-e1583848512462.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64450\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Young Dumb N&#8217; Broke (YDNB)<\/strong> is a rising stable of Philly young studs that also features GCW regular <strong>Jordan Oliver<\/strong>. But on Thursday, the other three members &#8211; <strong>Charlie Tiger, Ellis Taylor<\/strong>, and <strong>Griffin McCoy<\/strong> &#8211; will team up as a trio to take on one of the blights of GCW in <strong>Rickey Shane Page<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>44.OH!<\/strong> stable. While Ellis Taylor made his GCW debut last November at\u00a0<em>GCW Chopper City in the Ghetto\u00a0<\/em>in Philly alongside Oliver, this will be the trios debut for the company. In his war against former GCW World Champion\u00a0<strong>Nick Gage<\/strong>, RSP formed his own Ohio faction featuring\u00a0<strong>Atticus Cogar, Eddy Only\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Gregory Iron<\/strong>, and now the Champion&#8217;s minions will get a chance to show they&#8217;re more than Gage&#8217;s whipping boys.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Jimmy Lloyd vs. Saieve Al Sabah vs. KTB vs. Steve Sanders vs. AJ Gray vs. Sanchez<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64452\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64452\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64452\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/EStSwgbXgAcbzQL-e1583848562885.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64452\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A good 6-man match that&#8217;s sure to have the usual GCW mayhem. With &#8220;The Different Boy&#8221; <strong>Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong> involved, your sure to see some unmitigated violence, as the Prince of American Hardcore puts his body on the line with oft crimson results. Former GCW World Champion\u00a0<strong>KTB\u00a0<\/strong>is another force who loves to create pain and misery in every match he&#8217;s a part of. New Jersey&#8217;s <strong>Steve Sanders<\/strong> is better known as part of the <strong>Hardcore Hustle Organization (H2O)<\/strong> tag team <strong>The Fed<\/strong> with <strong>Dan Gallagher<\/strong>, but he gets another singles showcase in GCW on Thursday.\u00a0<strong>AJ Gray\u00a0<\/strong>has become one of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/07\/16\/indie-watch-rich-homie-juice-aj-gray\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the breakout stars of 2020<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/12\/10\/andnew-aj-gray-rickey-shane-page-win-gcw-world-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">briefly holding the GCW World Championship<\/a>, as well as collecting belts throughout the Midwest.\u00a0<strong>Saieve Al Sabah\u00a0<\/strong>has been one of the standouts of the Florida scene, even working <strong>EVOLVE Wrestling<\/strong> and North Carolina&#8217;s <strong>Pro Wrestling eXperience (PWX)<\/strong>, and he&#8217;s returning to GCW for the first time since November 2018&#8217;s\u00a0<strong><em>GCW Tha G-Code<\/em><\/strong>. Finally, New York City veteran <strong>Pinkie Sanchez<\/strong> returns to GCW since last November, as the <strong>Beyond Wrestling<\/strong> and former <strong>CHIKARA<\/strong> star brings his demonic presence to GCW.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SHLAK vs. Jeff King<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64449\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64449\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64449\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/ESCuWydX0AAbqpq-e1583848497170.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64449\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Candidate for bloodiest match of the night goes to this hoss battle of hardcore lunatics. <strong>SHLAK<\/strong> continues to be GCW&#8217;s monster mascot, a wrecking ball who has taken on all comers and, win or lose, leaves a blood spattered mat in his wake. He&#8217;s facing longtime Michigan veteran <strong>Jeff King<\/strong>, who has been the face of Detroit&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Horror_Slam\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Horror Slam<\/strong><\/a> since 2018, made his GCW in December at <em>Jimmy All The Way<\/em>. King is a 20-year veteran of some horrific hardcore matches and it&#8217;s nice to see the 36-year old from Grand Rapids finally get onto a larger platform to showcase his devotion to the hardcore style.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>EFFY vs. Matthew Justice<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64448\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64448\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64448\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/ESCuWLQXkAE4JDl-e1583848482700.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64448\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Two drastically different styles, but the effervescent <strong>EFFY<\/strong> has more guts than braun as he faces one of the Midwest&#8217;s best big men in. EFFY has become a mainstay with GCW, taking on all the monsters like SHLAK, Nick Gage, <strong>Chris Dickinson<\/strong> and World Champ RSP. Now he&#8217;s turning his over-eager heart to <strong>Matthew Justice<\/strong>, the reigning <strong>Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW)<\/strong> Absolute and 2x AIW Intense Champion in what is sure to be a physical encounter.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Adrian Quest vs. Tony Deppen<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64447\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64447\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64447\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/ESCuWetWAAEpfbB-e1583848466872.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64447\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>24-year old West Coast sensation<strong> Adrian Quest<\/strong> has been wrestling for 10 years, a protege of <strong>Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF)<\/strong> and <strong>Jesse Hernandez<\/strong>. A standout with <strong>Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, Bar Wrestling<\/strong>, and more, he&#8217;s also been appearing for <strong>AAA Lucha Libre<\/strong> in Mexico since last year. He made his Game Changer debut this past January and now could potentially be the next West Coast star to breakout in GCW, similar to past West Coast indie darlings like <strong>Jungle Boy<\/strong> and <strong>Jake Atlas<\/strong>. On Thursday he&#8217;s facing &#8220;The Gatekeeper&#8221; of GCW in <strong>Tony Deppen<\/strong>. Deppen&#8217;s flawless approach makes him a perfect opponent for any style, as he&#8217;s gone from starring for GCW and CHIKARA to <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/07\/17\/battle-of-los-angeles-2019-pwg\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">debuting in his first <strong>Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG)<\/strong> <em><strong>Battle of Los Angeles<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in 2019, as well as Beyond Wrestling &#8211; he was also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ringofhonor\/status\/1237136206326095874\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recently announced<\/a> for the upcoming <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong> Pure Championship tournament.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Joey Janela vs. Blake Christian<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64446\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64446\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64446\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/ESCuV3_WoAIBr46-e1583848450844.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64446\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>All Elite Wrestling<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>Joey Janela<\/strong> returned to his home promotion last month for his first indie match since joining AEW full time last September, with a victory over Jordan Oliver at\u00a0<em>Run Rickey Run<\/em>. Janela continues his GCW return with a head to head against one of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/08\/16\/blake-christian-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GCW&#8217;s breakout stars of 2019<\/a> and someone who was taking off just as Janela was leaving last year, in Nashville&#8217;s <strong>Blake Christian<\/strong>. Christian has emerged as a star to watch in 2020 and this match could be his &#8220;next level&#8221; showcase.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Nick Gage vs. Ophidian<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64444\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64444\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-64444 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/EQInXM5WkAApn7W-e1583848433765.jpg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64444\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He may not be the World Champion anymore but Nick Gage still runs the company <em>all f**king day<\/em>. The King of American Hardcore will be stepping into the ring with a Philadelphia indie legend and longtime star of CHIKARA in the serpentine <strong>Ophidian<\/strong>. Ophidian has always been a spectacle in the ring, but his darker turn the past year or so leading <strong>The Crucible<\/strong> to the top of CHIKARA, capturing last year&#8217;s <em><strong>King of Trios<\/strong><\/em>. Ophidian has also become a regular face (mask?) at Game Changer Wrestling since debuting a year ago and now faces Nick Gage for the first time ever.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>GCW World Championship (Non-Title): Rickey Shane Page (c) vs. Ruckus<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64451\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64451\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-64451 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/03\/ESOqD5VXcAEj4S1-e1583848543984.jpg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64451\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>GCW World Champion Rickey Shane Page continues his reign of cowardice by once again NOT putting the World title on the line. His opponent on Thursday is 21-year veteran of violence <strong>Ruckus<\/strong>, best known as being a part of <strong>BLK OUT<\/strong> in <strong>Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong> for nearly two decades as 5x CZW World Tag Team Champions (with BLK Jeez) and a 3x CZW World Heavyweight Champion.
