Stardom recently cancelled a number of upcoming shows<\/a> due to the coronavirus outbreak.\u00a0 Since then the spread of the infection has continued forcing many other Japanese companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) to cancel events.<\/p>\n

NJPW<\/strong><\/h3>\n

New Japan Pro Wrestling has cancelled all events between March 1st and 15th.\u00a0 This includes the anniversary tour which was supposed to feature a clash between Tetsuya Naito\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Hiromu Takahashi<\/strong>.\u00a0 This also affects the recently announced New Japan Cup<\/a> with 8 tournament shows cancelled.<\/p>\n

DDTPro<\/strong><\/h3>\n

DDT,\u00a0Ganbare<\/strong>\u00a0and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>have also cancelled a number of upcoming shows.\u00a0 A total of nine shows were cancelled between February 28th and March 8th.\u00a0 DDT will, however, run empty arena shows in their dojo during this period.\u00a0 All TJPW title matches scheduled to take place will be rescheduled.<\/p>\n

DDT will replace the cancelled shows with non-spectator matches in their dojo to be broadcast on DDT UNIVERSE. The dates for these matches are:
28\/2 DDT, 1\/3 DDT & TJPW, 3\/3 DDT, 7\/3 DDT<\/p>\n
