Ultimately De Lander would win three matches in a single night and become the new Newy Pro Women&#8217;s Champion by defeating <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/08\/19\/newcastle-pro-wrestling-womens-champion\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bel Pierce<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Invictus Tournament sees trios competing in a tournament with the winning trio awarded gauntlets which allow them to challenge for any title at any time. For this year&#8217;s tournament, De Lander was joined by <strong>Headhunter Rig<\/strong> and <strong>Dazza<\/strong> as they formed the team known as <strong>Big Rigs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In their first-round clash the Big Rigs would defeat <strong>Black Shirt Cool Group<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>BSCG<\/strong> &#8211; consisting of <strong>Shazza McKenzie, Jax Jordan,<\/strong> and <strong>Ricky South<\/strong>). Following that victory, Big Rigs would go on to battle <strong>Coast Born Killers<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>CBK<\/strong> &#8211; consisting of <strong>Kellyanne, Tyson Reed <\/strong>and <strong>Ben Braxton<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Finally in a historic moment, De Lander would be the first person to ever instantly throw down their gauntlet as she challenged Bel Pierce for the Women&#8217;s Championship.<\/p>\n<p>With this victory, Steph De Lander becomes just the fourth woman to hold the title. Previous Newy Pro Women&#8217;s Champions include <strong>Indi Hartwell, Harley Wonderland<\/strong> and <strong>Bel<\/strong> <strong>Pierce<\/strong>.
