With Joey Janela<\/strong> now working for All Elite Wrestling (AEW)<\/strong>, Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong> has handed over the reigns to special shows to “The Different Boy” Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong>, who has had several shows now heading into WrestleMania Week. While Janela will still host his Joey Janela’s Spring Break<\/strong><\/em>, Jimmy Lloyd will be hosting Jimmy Lloyd’s D-Generation F<\/strong><\/em>, a free admission showcase of some of the best young talents in the US.<\/p>\n

Jordan Oliver vs. Blake Christian<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The first (and only) match announced so far features two men who really upped their game in 2019 and became essential roster members for GCW. Jordan Oliver<\/strong> is only 20-years old and already runs with one group, Injustice<\/strong>, in Major League Wrestling and another, Young Dumb N’ Broke (YDNB)<\/strong> in various US indies. He’s facing Blake Christian<\/strong>, who absolutely exploded<\/a> out of the Southern indie circuit following his GCW debut last summer to become one of the most exciting stars in the US indie circuits.<\/p>\n

Atticus Cogar<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Atticus Cogar<\/strong> went from being an exciting debut with GCW<\/a> last year to one of the most hated men in the company, thanks solely to his allegiance to GCW World Champion Rickey Shane Page in the new faction, 44OH<\/strong><\/a>. But there’s no denying his talent and on a showcase including his peers, he’s bound to shine even through the heat.<\/p>\n

Myron Reed<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of the most exciting young talents in the US indie scene, he’s also become a part of Major League Wrestling (MLW)<\/strong> and the stable Injustice with Kotta Brazil<\/strong> and Jordan Oliver. The reigning MLW World Middleweight Champion has all the tools to be a star and continues to improve each and every year.<\/p>\n

Sonico<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A luchadore from Washington state, Sonico<\/strong> has finally broken out of the Pacific Northwest indie scene, where he thrived with the likes of DEFY Wrestling, Without A Cause (WAC), 3-2-1 BATTLE!, Prestige Wrestling<\/strong>, and Canada’s Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW)<\/strong>, amongst others. At the end of 2019, he did a three month stint with Pro Wrestling NOAH<\/strong> in Japan. He’s heading to Florida in April for his GCW debut in what should be another huge step for Sonico in the US indie department.<\/p>\n

Ace Austin<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The reigning IMPACT X-Division Champion is making another indie appearance as the star heads to\u00a0D-Generation F\u00a0<\/em>during WrestleMania Week.<\/p>\n

Starboy Charlie<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Starboy Charlie<\/strong> will also be making his GCW return, and he could prove to be one of GCW\u2019s golden discoveries. Charlie is only 16, having begun his wrestling training at the age of 11. He\u2019s become a staple on the West Coast for promotions like West Coast Pro Wrestling, Gold Rush Wrestling<\/strong>, and\u00a0All Pro Wrestling<\/strong>. He debuted with GCW at their last Los Angeles show,\u00a0Just Being Honest<\/em>, this past January.<\/p>\n

Elayna Black<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Elayna Luck<\/strong>\u00a0has been making waves in the women\u2019s scene in the Midwest of late, working for the likes\u00a0RISE Wrestling, EVOLVE, IMPACT Wrestling, House of Hardcore <\/strong>and others.<\/p>\n

1 Called Manders<\/strong> saw a big 2019, as he began to make a name for himself outside of his home region. A regular with SCW Pro Wrestling<\/strong> out of Iowa, last year saw him make a name for himself in IWA Mid South, Southern Underground Pro (SUP), Black Label Pro, <\/strong>GCW, Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW)<\/strong>, and much more.<\/p>\n

Jamie Senegal<\/strong><\/h3>\n

“The Punk Rock Kween” has been a rising star in the US indies since 2015 and a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ wrestling community. She’s wrestled with Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong>, Atomic Championship Wrestling (ACW)<\/strong> in Maryland, RISE Wrestling, A Matter of Pride, Hoodslam<\/strong>, and Bar Wrestling<\/strong>, to name a few. She’s a former ACE Heavyweight Champion and 2x ACE Cruiserweight Champion.<\/p>\n

Logan Stunt<\/strong><\/h3>\n

GCW had a huge hand<\/a> in the success of All Elite Wrestling<\/strong>‘s Marko Stunt<\/strong><\/a>, after he was a breakout discovery in 2018. But don’t worry, you can still get your Stunt fix from Marko’s little brother, Logan Stunt<\/strong>. While they employ similar shenanigans, Logan has managed to carve out his own personality as he makes his own rise in the US indie scene.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Wolf<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Much like Jordan Oliver, Johnathan Wolf<\/strong> is part of a troupe of young guns who is breaking out on his own the past year. Wolf is a member of IFHY<\/strong> with Shawn Kemp, Tyler Matrix, Cole Radick, Alice Crowley<\/strong>, and others. But the 22-year old is starting to take flight on his own, working the Midwest scene with the likes of IWA Mid South, Black Label Pro, Wrestling Revolver, and more.<\/p>\n

AJ Gray<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Another standout out in 2019<\/a>, AJ Gray<\/strong> has carried over his momentum in 2019 through to an explosive 2020 so far. Last year he captured the Black Label Pro Midwest Championship and Glory Pro<\/strong> Crown of Glory Championship (both of which he still holds) and he became the man to end Nick Gage<\/strong>‘s 722-day reign as GCW World Champion (before being screwed out of it by Rickey Shane Page<\/a>). He had a big debut with Beyond Wrestling<\/strong> last year as well, that has really open up Gray to a whole new audience. A big 2020 is expected.<\/p>\n

Kevin Giza<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yet another Midwest prospect looking to blow up in 2020, Kevin Giza<\/strong> started with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW)<\/strong> before becoming a regular with IWA Mid South. A 3x IWA Mid South Junior Heavyweight Champion and IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion, Giza’s career is only just beginning to bubble.<\/p>\n

YDNB (Jordan Oliver, Ellis Taylor, Charlie Tiger & Griffin McCoy)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We already know who Jordan Oliver’s opponent will be, as he’s slated for singles action against Blake Christian. But the other three members of YDNB will most likely end up in a 6-man tag match. The group has become irritants in multiple promotions, like CZW, Hardcore Hustle Organization (H2O)<\/strong>, and Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment (AWE)<\/strong>, where Tiger and Taylor are the AWE Tag Team Champions.<\/p>\n

Carlos Romo<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A few years back, Spain’s Carlos Romo<\/strong> was part of one of the hottest tag teams in Europe, Team Whitewolf<\/strong>, with A-Kid<\/strong>. Fast forward to 2020, and A-Kid is a new face in NXT UK<\/a>. But don’t be fooled into thinking Romo is Team Whitewolf’s Marty Jannetty<\/strong>. He’s an amazing talent who continues to impress in Europe, with the likes of RevPro, Fight Club: PRO,<\/strong> and Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling<\/strong>. He’s also breaking into the US market as well, working with the likes of Black Label Pro, Warrior Wrestling<\/strong>, GCW, and others.<\/p>\n

Oswald Project<\/strong><\/h3>\n

An early candidate for 2020’s breakout star of the year, the enigmatic Oswald Project<\/strong> is gaining buzz at a tremendous pace. He made his GCW debut in January, as well as working for Beyond Wrestling, Limitless Wrestling,<\/strong> and CHIKARA<\/strong> this year.<\/p>\n

Matt Demorest<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Flip Bros (Air Wolf & Angel Dorado)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Two of Minnesota’s finest luchadores, Air Wolf<\/strong> and Angel Dorado<\/strong> were already doing well for themselves as singles competitors. But in the past year, combined as the Flip Bros, the tandem has found themselves in high demand, both domestically and internationally, working with their hometown F1RST Wrestling<\/strong> as well as AAW Pro<\/strong>, Glory Pro, and Ireland’s OTT. They’re returning to GCW to compete at\u00a0D-Generation F.<\/em><\/p>\n

Alex Ocean<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, Alex Ocean<\/strong> has crept into the Florida indie scene, becoming a rising star with Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW), FEST Wrestling<\/strong>, and others.<\/p>\n

One of the most exciting young guns of the past few years, Brian Pillman Jr.<\/strong> has achieved the unenviable task of rising out of the shadow of his father, Brian Pillman<\/strong>. He gained national attention joining MLW, where he was part of the new Hart Foundation<\/strong> with Teddy Hart<\/strong> and Davey Boy Smith Jr<\/strong>. He’ll continue to expand his brand with an appearance at\u00a0D-Generation F.<\/em><\/p>\n
