Sendai Girls Battle Royal<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_62555\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62555\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-62555\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/Meiko-Sakuramura-e1581199878405.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-62555\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: @senjo2006<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This battle royal had everything that makes Joshi great.\u00a0 The comedy came from\u00a0<strong>Sakura Hirota\u00a0<\/strong>cosplaying as\u00a0<strong>Meiko Satomura\u00a0<\/strong>leading to her badly hitting some of Meiko&#8217;s signature moves.\u00a0 As well as that you had the moments of\u00a0<strong>Sareee\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Chihiro Hashimoto\u00a0<\/strong>beating the heck out of each other.\u00a0 This was a really enjoyable match that encapsulated everything to like about Joshi.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MpXAqlK9HjI\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Link To Watch (Sendai Girls YouTube)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>9. Hibiki vs Rina Yamashita<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_62554\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62554\" style=\"width: 424px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-62554\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/Jan.-19-Marvelous-e1581199724804.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"424\" height=\"600\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-62554\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: @info_marvelous<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Rina Yamashita was on top form here laying her strikes in with the usual impact.\u00a0 What really made this match good was Hibiki.\u00a0 She&#8217;s so intense and her offence is so impactful that it was easy to root for her whenever she fought back against Rina&#8217;s onslaught.\u00a0 This was a real hoss match, but a hoss match with a well-told story.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/freshlive.tv\/marvelous\/276190?login_succeeded=true\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Link To Watch (Marvelous&#8217; Freshlive Channel)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>8. Hanako Nakamori &amp; Manami Katsu vs Ryo Mizunami &amp; Leon<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_62556\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62556\" style=\"width: 533px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-62556\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/Pure-J-Nakamori-vs-Mizunami-e1581200398903.jpg\" alt=\"Joshi\" width=\"533\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-62556\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: @purejpro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The initial interest here was for Nakamori and Mizunami to beat each other up. But damn, Leo and Katsu came to play too and there were a ton of stiff shots being thrown. Really good tag match if people hitting each other very hard is what you&#8217;re into!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>7. Mayu Iwatani vs Momo Watanabe<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_59981\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-59981\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-59981\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/12\/Mayu-Iwatani-vs-Momo-Watanabe.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/12\/Mayu-Iwatani-vs-Momo-Watanabe.jpg 600w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/12\/Mayu-Iwatani-vs-Momo-Watanabe-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-59981\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo Courtesy Of @we_are_stardom<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Saying this match was a spot fest is not meant as an insult.\u00a0 This was two women trading big moves for 20 minutes and taking some insane bumps.\u00a0 Mayu Iwatani especially manages to find a way to take a bump in the most painful-looking way possible.\u00a0 Not as good as their GP match last year but a fun encounter nonetheless<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stardom-world.com\/set\/1025\/contents\/1024?fcid=15\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stardom-world.com\/set\/1025\/contents\/1024?fcid=15\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Link To Watch (Stardom World)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>6. Kagetsu &amp; Mayu Iwatani vs Jungle Kyona &amp; Momo Watanabe<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62557\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/Kagetsus-Final-Stardom-Match-e1581201412706.jpg\" alt=\"Joshi\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kagetsu and Kyona brought it as the final stretch was akin to a singles match with Kagetsu putting Kyona over strong.\u00a0 The rest of the action was the hectic tag team style we&#8217;ve come to know from Stardom.\u00a0 The added twist of JKGreeen reuniting and Mayu &amp; Kagetsu teaming for the first time made the match better as there were nostalgic spots and new combos from Kagetsu and Iwatani.\u00a0 Stardom said goodbye to Kagetsu in the best way here with a great match that allowed her to put over Kyona.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stardom-world.com\/set\/1025\/contents\/1024?fcid=15\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Link To Watch (Stardom World)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>5. Nagisa Nozaki, Takumi Iroha &amp; Hibiki vs Rina Shingaki, Syuri &amp; Miyuki Takasa<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_62558\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62558\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-62558\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/WAVE-trios-match-e1581202095891.jpg\" alt=\"Joshi\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-62558\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: @P_W_WAVE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Great six-woman main event from WAVE featuring some main event players. The match had a few different dynamics such as the Takumi\/Miyuki sequence and the Syuri\/Nagisa kick battle. Hibiki was good whenever she got in and her power game adds something unique to her portion of the matches. Overall a really good tag match from WAVE<\/p>\n<h3><strong>4. Chihiro Hashimoto &amp; Mikoto Shindo vs Sareee &amp; Nanami<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_62553\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62553\" style=\"width: 424px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-62553\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/Sendai-Girls-Jan-12-e1581199206814.jpg\" alt=\"Joshi\" width=\"424\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-62553\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: @senjo2006<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Great tag match that had various good phases. The two main eventers trading blows, the rookies squaring off, the rookies battling defiantly against the main eventers and most importantly tag team moves aplenty.\u00a0 Sendai Girls have got the big time tag match formula down to a tee and Sareee and Hashimoto are two of the best at this style.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vzIH_mbo4qI\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Link To Watch (Sendai Girls YouTube)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>3. Natsumi Maki vs Sareee<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_62559\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62559\" style=\"width: 428px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-62559\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/Natsumi-Maki-vs-Sareee-e1581202928934.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"428\" height=\"600\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-62559\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: @tjpw2013<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sareee continues to deliver matches at the highest level no matter where she goes.\u00a0 Natsumi Maki was more than up for the challenge as her forearms, in particular, were perfect here.\u00a0 In the end, though she succumbed to Sareee&#8217;s urunage but not after putting up a fight against one of the best wrestlers in the world.\u00a0 Matches like this will be what we miss the most when Sareee goes to America.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ddtpro.com\/universe\/videos\/7743\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Link To Watch (DDT Universe)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. Mikoto Shindo, Takumi Iroha &amp; Aoki Itsuki vs Chihiro Hashimoto, Queen Aminata &amp; Mei Hoshizuki<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Like most of these Marvelous main events these showed off the abilities of all six participants. Shindo and Hoshizuki carried the majority of the in-ring time as it seemed like they were always involved but they work really well together. When it wasn&#8217;t Shindo and Hoshizuki going at it we had the other four involved in fun exchanges like Takumi and Chihiro trading shots, which ended in Takumi clocking Chihiro with a beautiful punch.\u00a0 As long as Marvelous provides matches like this they&#8217;ll be a consistent feature in this top 10 list.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/freshlive.tv\/marvelous\/276190?login_succeeded=true\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Link To Watch (Marvelous Freshlive Channel)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>1. AZM &amp; Kagetsu vs Mayu Iwatani &amp; Starlight Kid<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_62625\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62625\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-62625\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/AZM-Kagetsu-vs-SLK-Mayu-Iwatani-e1581343639929.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-62625\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: @we_are_stardom<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kagetsu&#8217;s retirement road gave us some really fun matches like the tag with Mayu that we saw earlier on the list.\u00a0 The best match we got though was Kagetsu finally getting to team with AZM as they took on AZM&#8217;s rival Starlight Kid and Mayu Iwatani.\u00a0 AZM and Kid had the majority of the time in this one as they got to show off their chemistry, Iwatani and Kagetsu got involved when needed and kept the pace high.\u00a0 What really helped the match was how well AZM and Kagetsu worked together, it&#8217;s a travesty that we&#8217;ll never see them teaming again as they had the potential to be a top tier tag team.\u00a0 This was a really enjoyable tag team match between four very talented individuals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stardom-world.com\/set\/978\/contents\/977?fcid=1\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Link To Watch (Stardom World)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/a>\u00a0for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
