{"id":62437,"date":"2020-02-07T13:37:29","date_gmt":"2020-02-07T18:37:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/?p=62437"},"modified":"2020-02-07T13:37:29","modified_gmt":"2020-02-07T18:37:29","slug":"generation-championship-wrestling-mania-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/02\/07\/generation-championship-wrestling-mania-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Generation Championship Wrestling Adds More Matches To Mania Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Generation Championship Wrestling is kicking off Mania week festivities this year with a doubleheader as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2020\/01\/28\/we-run-this-town-lineup\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">We Run This Town<\/a> collective.\u00a0 We previously looked at the matches announced for GCW&#8217;s events but since then we have had three more matches added to the shows.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Storm vs Richard Holliday<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62454\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/The-Storm-vs-Richard-Holliday-e1581084775185.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Major League Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>star Richard Holliday will be a part of the Generation Championship Wrestling lineup.\u00a0 The cocky and brash Holliday will take on\u00a0The Storm.\u00a0 The storm is the kind of guy that can really hurt Holliday and we can only hope that he shuts Holliday&#8217;s cocky mouth up!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Chuckles The Clown King vs Arik Cannon<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62452\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/Chuckles-The-Clown-vs-Arik-Cannon-e1581084233781.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><\/p>\n<p>Chuckles The Clown King doesn&#8217;t look like the kind of guy you want to mess with.\u00a0 The Team 3D trained clown king has been seen in\u00a0<strong>House Of Glory\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Ring Of Honor\u00a0<\/strong>in the past.\u00a0 He takes on indie veteran Arik Cannon, Cannon debuted all the way back in 2001 and has been an indie mainstay ever since.\u00a0 He&#8217;s competed for the likes of\u00a0<strong>Dragon Gate<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>CHIKARA<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>AAW\u00a0<\/strong>and was once on 205 Live as enhancement talent.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Craven vs KC Navarro vs Carter Mason vs Gino Medina<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62446\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/Craven-vs-KC-Navarro-vs-Carter-Mason-vs-Gino-Medina-e1581081234143.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\"><\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Australian Sensation&#8221; Craven is just one of the competitors in this match.\u00a0 The fourteen year veteran has competed in places like\u00a0<strong>The CRASH Lucha Libre<\/strong>. On the other end of that spectrum is KC Navarro show only debuted in 2016 but has been a regular for\u00a0<strong>Combat Zone Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>and even appeared for\u00a0<strong>EVOLVE<\/strong>.\u00a0 Another veteran Carter Mason also takes part in the match.\u00a0 The Canadian debuted in 2005 and has had a run recently with top Canadian company <strong>Smash Wrestling.\u00a0<\/strong>The final member of the matchup is Gino Medina, Medina is a familiar face to watchers of\u00a0MLW and also made his\u00a0<strong>Game Changer Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>debut earlier this year.\u00a0 This is a fatal four way that mixes experience with youth in a match that is sure to entertain<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Trish Adora vs Viva Van vs Skyler Moore<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62447\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/02\/Viva-Van-vs-Trish-Adora-vs-Skyler-Moore-e1581081934242.jpg\" alt=\"Generation Championship Wrestling\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Trish Adora is an imposing woman, she&#8217;s tall and uses her power to her advantage.\u00a0 She has already competed for the likes of\u00a0<strong>Pro Wrestling: EVE\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Shine\u00a0<\/strong>so she obviously has talent and is the standout competitor here.\u00a0 However, her opponents in this match are not to be overlooked.\u00a0 Skyler Moore recently competed on AEW Dark against Awesome Kong so she knows what it&#8217;s like to face powerful opponents, Moore has also captured championship gold in the past so it&#8217;s clear that she can rise to any occasion.\u00a0 The final competitor is Viva Van.\u00a0 It may be easy to overlook Van considering who her opponents are but in her short career, she has managed to impress and even wrestled under the <strong>AAA\u00a0<\/strong>banner down in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>The Generation Championship Wrestling lineups continue to come together as we are guaranteed 2 shows of really good wrestling to kick of the Mania week festivities.\u00a0 As always tickets for We Run This Town and all of the events under the umbrella can be found at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/generation-championship-wrestling-gcw-mania-week-we-run-this-town-mania-week-2020-tickets-69266031565?fbclid=IwAR3Lh_iZqqdNYYk8o32HnkjcWzG8-6O1qICGS3R-r3RWCYrQsIL-uRZtJF0\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eventbrite<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Generation Championship Wrestling is kicking off Mania week festivities this year with a doubleheader as part of the We Run This Town collective.\u00a0 We previously looked at the matches announced for GCW&#8217;s events but since then we have had three more matches added to the shows.
