For the annual WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show<\/strong><\/em>, we’ve had one name added, as well as one match announced. The legendary high-flyer and 22-year veteran Amazing Red<\/strong> will be joining the lineup. This will be his first appearance for one of the signature events during WrestleMania<\/strong><\/em> week. Following contemplation of retirement, Red has gone through a bit of a career renaissance. He wrestled a series of dream matches in 2019 with Will Ospreay<\/strong>, PAC<\/strong>, and others. Now he will perform at the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show<\/em>, as well as the ROH SuperCard of Honor<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, IMPACT TNA Throwback<\/em><\/a><\/strong> show and ICW New York’s No Holds Barred II<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Amazing Red joins the already announced lineup<\/a> that includes Japanese star Shingo<\/strong> and breakout luchador Bandido<\/strong>. WrestleCon announced that the first match for the show would be Shingo taking on Bandido in a first-ever singles encounter. They have crossed paths before in tag team matches and one triple-threat match in PWG<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bandido picked up an insane amount of momentum at the end of 2019. He won not only the Battle of Los Angeles<\/strong><\/em><\/a> but the PWG World Championship<\/a> as well. As part of a trio with Flamita<\/strong> and Rey Horus<\/strong>, they picked up the Ring of Honor Six-Man Tag Team Championships<\/a>. Shingo has found championship success as well. At night two of Wrestle Kingdom 14<\/strong><\/em>, he, EVIL<\/strong>, and BUSHI<\/strong> picked up the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championships<\/a>. However, on this night, there will be no partners to rely on. It’ll just be the two of them ready to show the world what they can do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
