The outlaws of Game Changer Wrestling<\/strong> (GCW) return to Los Angeles on January 24th with Just Being Honest<\/strong><\/em>. This follows a night of friendly competition over at Bar Wrestling 52: Bar vs. GCW<\/strong><\/em>. They last raised hell in the City of Angels back in November with Slime Language<\/strong><\/em>. Rickey Shane Page<\/strong> hosts another non-title open challenge, Starboy Charlie<\/strong> makes his GCW debut, and a dream match goes down between AJ Gray<\/strong> and Chris Bey<\/strong>, along with several other sure to be incredible matches.<\/p>\n

Tony Deppen vs. Mance Warner<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ol’ Mancer is loading up his truck with lite beers as he rolls on through looking to hit the pay window at Just Being Honest<\/em>. Coming off of a loss to RSP at Take a Picture<\/strong><\/em>, Warner will look to turn his 2020 around before it spirals out. This will be a first-time encounter for the two GCW favorites. Deppen is coming off a huge win at I Can’t Feel My Face<\/strong><\/em> over Jake Atlas<\/strong>. If either would like a shot at RSP, should he ever decide to defend the GCW Championship, the more wins the better.<\/p>\n

Chris Dickinson vs. David Starr<\/strong><\/h3>\n

David Starr<\/strong> returns to GCW for the first time since Curtain Call<\/strong><\/em> back in September of 2019. He lost to Tony Deppen<\/strong> and looks to get back to winning ways here at Just Being Honest<\/em>. He and Chris Dickinson<\/strong> have met several times in the past. Dickinson currently leads their rivalry, holding two wins to Starr’s one. Their last encounter was at Beyond Wrestling’s<\/strong> Heavy Lies the Crown<\/strong><\/em> in 2018. Dickinson is coming off a nice win at Take A Picture<\/em> over Dirty Andy Dalton<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n

AJ Gray vs. Chris Bey<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In another epic first-time encounter, we have two of the hottest rising stars colliding. AJ Gray<\/a> exploded on the wrestling scene in 2019 and even dethroned Nick Gage as GCW Champion…until RSP usurped him. Now as Gray tries to get back into the title picture he will start his road back to the top with the Ultimate Finesser. Bey is coming off a loss at Take A Picture<\/em> to Alex Zayne<\/strong> and losing isn’t something Bey likes to associate with. At Just Being Honest<\/em>, this will be a match of the night contender for sure.<\/p>\n

Blake Christian vs Arez<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The luchador Arez<\/strong> returns to GCW after making his debut at the co-promoted 2 Cups Stuffed<\/strong><\/em> with Black Label Pro<\/strong>. He was part of the last show in Los Angeles, Slime Language<\/em> too. The match at that show was a scramble that also involved his opponent for Just Being Honest<\/em>, Blake Christian<\/strong>. Christian<\/a> walked away with the win, just like he did at Take A Picture<\/em> over Gino Medina<\/strong>. Blake is one of the stars that GCW has helped raise to prominence and Arez could very well be on the same track.<\/p>\n

Eli Everfly vs. Adrian Quest vs. Slice Boogie vs. Gringo Loco vs. JJ Garrett<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Eli Everfly<\/strong> hasn’t seen a win in GCW since their inaugural event in LA, Joey Janela’s LA Confidential<\/strong><\/em>. He was also involved in a scramble at Slime Language<\/em> and was unsuccessful. Adrian Quest<\/strong> and Slice Boogie<\/strong> are both SoCal wrestlers working for promotions like Santino Bros<\/strong> and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood<\/strong>. Quest is making his GCW debut while Boogie is making his first appearance at a GCW only show. His GCW debut was at a co-promoted show with FIST Combat<\/strong>. Also joining this match are the Base God, Gringo Loco<\/strong> and JJ Garrett<\/strong>. Both of them are no stranger to these multi-person scramble style matches. Matches like these can provide opportunities for spots that may go viral, ala Blake Christian and Jordan Oliver<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Joey Ryan vs Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you were to look up GCW in a dictionary, you would see photos of two people that define this promotion. One would be Nick Gage and the other would be Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong>. The Different Boy may not have a lot in the wins column, but he is a gritty and determined competitor who makes his opponents elevate their game. He’s also gaining more shows to his name such as Jimmy All The Way<\/strong><\/em> and Jimmy Lloyd’s Halloween Frightmare<\/strong><\/em>. Another wrestler had this become a phenomenon by the name of Joey Janela<\/strong>. The King of Dong Style makes his first appearance in GCW since Joey Janela’s Spring Break 3, Part 2<\/strong><\/em> in April 2019. Ryan is certainly a different kind of an opponent for Lloyd, which will make for an interesting encounter at Just Being Honest<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Nick Gage vs. Matthew Justice<\/strong><\/h3>\n

These two are not strangers to each other, as they’ve crossed paths several times. Matthew Justice has not been able to defeat Gage in single’s competition though. These two are so experienced, there are probably few things they haven’t done to someone. Neither are afraid to go that extra mile either, so this will probably be a very signature Nick Gage ultraviolent encounter. Part of GCW’s charm is the balance of fast-paced modern wrestling meshed with hardcore deathmatches. And of course, MDK all f*cking day.<\/p>\n

Rickey Shane Page vs. EFFY<\/strong>

Answering Ricky Shane Page’s open challenge at Just Being Honest<\/em> is EFFY<\/strong>. EFFY’s goal is to make whichever opponent he has call him Daddy. This is also a first-time encounter but RSP’s GCW Championship is not on the line. He will probably have Gregory Iron<\/strong> or another of his cronies along for the ride. EFFY will need to be mindful of that should he want to be able to put RSP away. As with the Justice\/Gage match, this one could easily go to the hardcore end of things very quickly. Both Page and EFFY are very comfortable using whatever weapons they need to as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Starboy Charlie<\/strong> will also be making his GCW debut, and he could prove to be one of GCW’s golden discoveries. Charlie is still in his teens, having begun his wrestling training at the age of 11. He’s become a staple on the West Coast for promotions like West Coast Pro Wrestling, Gold Rush Wrestling<\/strong>, and All Pro Wrestling<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
