St. Louis Anarchy continues to be the gateway between the Midwest and Southern\/Mid Atlantic wrestling regions, as well as part of a vibrant scene around St. Louis, alongside Glory Pro. They return this Friday with\u00a0Gateway to Anarchy<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0<\/em>that is airing live on IndepedentWrestling.tv<\/a> at 7:30pm CST\/8:30pm EST.<\/p>\n

St. Louis Anarchy Preview<\/h2>\n

Two young grapplers looking to make a splash in 2020 in this match up. The Kenway<\/strong> is entering his fourth year as a pro wrestler, after training with IMPACT’s Michael Elgin<\/strong>, having worked for Glory Pro, IWA Mid South, Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment (AWE)<\/strong>, and more and this past year saw him move deeper into the Midwest with Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), AAW<\/strong>, and Black Label Pro<\/strong>. He’s facing another young man making waves in 22 year old Cole Radrick<\/strong>. Radrick has been wrestling since 2015, cutting his teeth with IWA Mid South, Rockstar Pro, EMERGE Wrestling<\/strong>, and Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong>. Two top prospects that are hungry for a bigger year.<\/p>\n

Christian Rose, Angelus Layne & Jake Dirden vs. Evan Gelistico, Everett Connors & Billie Sparks<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Veterans Christian Rose<\/strong> and Jake Dirden<\/strong> have formed a pretty good partnership in St. Louis Anarchy in 2019 and they look to kick off the new year with a big win. For their huge 6-person intergender tag match, they’re pairing with another veteran in Angelus Layne<\/strong>, who has worked for SHIMMER<\/strong>, AIW, AWE, and more over the years.\u00a0Evan Gelistico\u00a0<\/strong>is a St. Louis Anarchy veteran since 2007, where he’s a former SLA Champion. He’s leading a squad that features another vet in Everett Connors<\/strong>, who Gelistico has worked alongside off and on for the past few years. The two will be joined by Billie Starks<\/strong>, a rising new star in the Midwest who only debuted in 2018.<\/p>\n

Aaron Williams vs. Thomas Shire<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Aaron Williams<\/strong> is another Midwest veteran, a 15-year pro who’s a former 6x IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion and 4x Rockstar Pro Champion. A fierce fighter, he’s facing 13-year pro and Dory Funk Jr.<\/strong> protege Thomas Shire<\/strong>, who has been a force in the Texas indie scene the past few years.<\/p>\n

Seishin & Kenny Alfonso vs. Ace Perry & Deacon Cash<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ever since Tootie Lynn Ramsey<\/strong> donned the mask of Seishin<\/strong>, she’s become a force in the Midwest. She’s pairing up with 22-year old wrestler\u00a0Kenny Alfonso<\/strong> who is also looking for a breakout 2020. The young duo face off Midwest veteran\u00a0Ace Perry<\/strong>, who has been building his resume with IWA Mid South, Bizarro Lucha<\/strong>, and more. Perry’s teaming with 25-year old\u00a0Deacon Cash\u00a0<\/strong>from St. Louis, and the current reigning New Breed Wrestling (NBW)<\/strong> Heavyweight Champion in Missouri. Another solid St. Louis Anarchy showcase for some new stars coming up.<\/p>\n

Chip Day vs. “Sharkbait” Anthony Gutierrez<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0Chip\u00a0Day<\/strong>\u00a0is a 17-year veteran of the Southern and Mid-Atlantic indie scenes, where he\u2019s a regular with AWE, where he\u2019s a former 2x GWC Champion, as well as the America\u2019s Most Liked (AML) Wrestling Prestige Champion in North Carolina. Anthony Gutierrez<\/strong>, aka \u201cSharkbait\u201d, is a former MMA fighter with a 12-3 record, who competed for UFC Ultimate Fighter in Season 18 in 2013. He transitioned to pro wrestling in 2017 and has also been competing for\u00a0EVOLVE Wrestling<\/strong>\u00a0since this past summer.<\/p>\n

Besties in the World (Mat Fitchett & Davey Vega) vs. Larry D & “Big Beef” Gnarls Garvin<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Besties in the World<\/strong> have become of the best unsigned tag teams in the world over the past year or so, and the reigning EVOLVE Wrestling and AAW Tag Team Champions. They’ve collected a lot of gold together in the past two years, including a run as Fight Club: PRO<\/strong> Tag Team Champions in England. Larry D<\/strong> is a veteran hoss of the Midwest circuit, who just recently signed with IMPACT Wrestling<\/a>. \u201cBig Beef\u201d Gnarls Garvin<\/strong> is only 24-years old, but he\u2019s another rising star in the region, having also worked for IWA Mid South, Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW)<\/strong> out of Texas, Pro Wrestling Freedom<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n

Gary Jay vs. Curt Stallion<\/strong><\/h3>\n

These two have had a love-hate relationship since 2017, as they’ve tagged together and fought each other on multiple occasions. 16-year veteran\u00a0Gary Jay <\/strong>has been a staple with St. Louis Anarchy and ACW in Texas for years, but he\u2019s finally getting his due appearing in big matches for the likes of BLP, GCW, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong>, IWA Mid South, and\u00a0ACTION Wrestling<\/strong>. He also recently made his debut with\u00a0Beyond Wrestling<\/strong>, winning the Discovery Gauntlet in his first match.\u00a0Curt Stallion\u00a0<\/strong>is looking towards a huge 2020 as the product of the Texas indie scene has been a huge part of EVOLVE Wrestling recently<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fred Yehi vs. WARHORSE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

8-year pro from Georgia,\u00a0Fred Yehi\u00a0<\/strong>started out in Southern indies before exploding in EVOLVE Wrestling in 2015, where he joined Catch Point<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0Drew Gulak, TJ Perkins, \u201cHot Sauce\u201d Tracy Williams<\/strong>, and\u00a0Matt Riddle. <\/strong>He held the\u00a0Full Impact Pro (FIP)<\/strong> World Championship for 562-day and became a regular in Germany with wXw as well as appearing for Major League Wrestling (MLW).\u00a0<\/strong>His opponent is one of the most explosive characters of 2019, in IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion\u00a0WARHORSE<\/strong><\/a>, who has become a major force on the US indies scene.<\/p>\n

St. Louis Anarchy Gateway Heritage Championship: Jeremy Wyatt (c) vs. Nick Gage<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jeremy Wyatt<\/strong>\u00a0is a 16-year veteran of the Midwest who has held rank over the courts in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and many more. He\u2019s the reigning and 3x 3XW\u00a0Pure Wrestling Champion <\/strong>in Iowa and his current reign as St. Louis Anarchy Champion will hit 463 days if he can hold back his challenger on Friday night. It’s going to be a battle to keep the belt, however, as he’s slated to face off against the King of American Hardcore, Nick Gage<\/strong>. Gage recently lost his GCW World title<\/a>, so he’s in an especially violent mood. This will be a war, not a wrestling contest.<\/p>\n
