On Saturday, he&#8217;s facing off against a Midwest veteran in <strong>Gregory Iron<\/strong>. Iron was a regular with <strong>Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW)<\/strong> for years and now finds himself one of the vets of the Canadian indie scene with <strong>Alpha-1 Wrestling<\/strong>. Iron is a well rounded competitor who will have make sure his technical side can overturn the beastial ferocity of SHLAK.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Scramble Match: Oswald Project vs. Cole Radrick vs. Blake Christian vs. Ophidian vs. AJ Gray vs. Treehouse Lee<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60489\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60489\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-60489\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/ENFQuOnWwAAzQuD-e1578527000618.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60489\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A huge scramble match featuring a plethora of young talents looking for breakout years in 2020. The lone veteran is <strong>CHIKARA<\/strong> mainstay <strong>Ophidian<\/strong>, who has really broke out of the CHIKARA mold in the past year. The veteran is facing a lot of emerging stars, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/07\/16\/indie-watch-rich-homie-juice-aj-gray\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Midwest standout <strong>AJ Gray<\/strong><\/a>, who won the GCW World Championship last month from<strong> Nick Gage<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/12\/10\/andnew-aj-gray-rickey-shane-page-win-gcw-world-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">but was scammed out of it a few minutes later<\/a>). AJ is also <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2020\/01\/08\/for-the-culture-gcw-talent\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">helping produce For The Culture for GCW<\/a> over WrestleMania Week.\u00a0<strong>Blake Christian\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/08\/16\/blake-christian-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">was one of GCW&#8217;s breakthrough discoveries of 2019<\/a> and continues to shine brighter each and every week. <strong>Treehouse Lee<\/strong>\u00a0is a regular of the Florida indie scene, working for the likes of\u00a0<strong>FEST Wrestling<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>American Combat Wrestling (ACW)<\/strong>, and more. He made his GCW debut on December 26 at their Christmas special event,\u00a0<em><strong>Jimmy All The Way<\/strong><\/em>, where he won a 6-man scramble, and now returns in April at\u00a0<em>For The Culture. <\/em>22 year old\u00a0<strong>Cole Radrick<\/strong>\u00a0has been wrestling since 2015, cutting his teeth with<strong>\u00a0IWA Mid South, Rockstar Pro, EMERGE Wrestling<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>GCW<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>Oswald Project<\/strong> is another new face (in relation) who has worked for\u00a0<strong>Pizza Party Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>in the past &#8211; could he be GCW&#8217;s next big discovery for 2020?<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Jimmy Lloyd vs. EFFY<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60485\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60485\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-60485\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/ELoaD9GX0AA52fG-e1578527069196.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60485\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>EFFY\u00a0<\/strong>continues to bring his charisma into the hardcore scene with GCW, this time facing &#8220;A Different Boy&#8221; <strong>Jimmy Lloyd<\/strong>. EFFY has already faced the likes of Nick Gage, <strong>Mance Warner, Eddie Kingston<\/strong>, SHLAK, and <strong>Chris Dickinson<\/strong> in a GCW ring, and on Saturday he&#8217;s facing one of GCW&#8217;s most improved performers. Jimmy Lloyd has taken over as the spirit animal of GCW (something he took over after defeating Joey Janela at\u00a0<em><strong>Curtain Call<\/strong><\/em><em>)\u00a0<\/em>and is now hosting more and more GCW events. Should be a fantastic match-up.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Matt Tremont vs. KTB<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60491\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60491\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-60491\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/ENUt8UpXkAMX44t-e1578526912940.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60491\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Two former GCW World Champions collide in a battle of two of the most dangerous big men in the game. <strong>KTB<\/strong> is GCW veteran and former GCW World Champion who has become one of the most violent big men in the sport. On Saturday, he faces one of the toughest men of the American Hardcore scene the past decade in former <strong>Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong> World Champion &#8220;The Bulldozer&#8221; <strong>Matt Tremont<\/strong>. There will be blood.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Jake Atlas vs. Tony Deppen<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60488\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60488\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-60488\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/ENANwRQX0AIoumu-e1578527024600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60488\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Last time these two GCW stars faced off one-on-one was at GCW To Live and Die In LA last March, and since then both men have only gotten better.\u00a0<strong>Jake Atlas\u00a0<\/strong>became <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/02\/09\/indie-watch-jake-atlas-en-route-to-becoming-a-superstar\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">one of the top prospects from the exploding West Coast scene<\/a>, leading to <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/10\/20\/jake-atlas-signs-wwe\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a reported deal with WWE\/NXT<\/a>.\u00a0<strong>Tony Deppen\u00a0<\/strong>continues to be one of the most underappreciated hands in the US indies, due to his extraordinary work with GCW, <strong>Beyond Wrestling<\/strong>, and CHIKARA, as well as appearing in his first <em><strong>Battle of Los Angeles<\/strong><\/em> for <strong>Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG)<\/strong> last fall. Strong bet this is the match of the night.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Alex Zayne vs. Chris Dickinson<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60487\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60487\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-60487\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/EMQjguhWkAITcRo-e1578527041877.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60487\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another instant classic in GCW, as another of their 2019 discoveries, who has now become an international breakout after touring Japan with <strong>CIMA<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Alex Zayne\u00a0<\/strong>has become of the most gifted aerialists on the scene, he&#8217;ll need more than an air game to face his opponent. A veteran of the US indie scene, <strong>Chris Dickinson<\/strong>&#8216;s lethal combination of strength and agility makes it easy for the &#8220;Ace&#8221; of Beyond Wrestling&#8217;s <em><strong>Uncharted Territory<\/strong><\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>to become one of the most versatile grapplers in the US.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Alex Colon vs. Matthew Justice<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60484\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60484\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-60484 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/ELjBe9VX0AYfNHZ-e1578527089696.jpeg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60484\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Alex Colon\u00a0<\/strong>has been one of GCW\u2019s MVPs and often goes unheralded for his contribution to the company, but this year he had several huge match-ups, including winning GCW\u2019s <em><strong>Tournament of Survival<\/strong><\/em> in the summer. <strong>Matthew Justice<\/strong> was trained by Ohio indie legend\u00a0<strong>JT Lightning<\/strong>\u00a0and starting off in Lightning\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Cleveland All-Pro Wrestling (CAPW)<\/strong>\u00a0in 2006. He began working with AIW in 2007, but in 2010 headed out to other promotions, working with Pittsburgh\u2019s\u00a0<strong>International Wrestling Cartel (IWC)<\/strong>, New York City\u2019s\u00a0<strong>New York Wrestling Connection (NYWC)<\/strong>, as well as working as enhancement for the WWE. He&#8217;s had a great year with Ohio&#8217;s AIW, where he&#8217;s the reigning AIW Absolute Champion and 2x AIW Intense Champion. Two men who never back from a fight, this will be an extremely physical affair.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Non-Title Match: Rickey Shane Page vs. Nate Webb<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60482\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60482\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-60482 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/EL3X4rRWkAY3vXG-e1578526929203.jpeg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60482\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>New GCW World Champion\u00a0<strong>Rickey Shane Page\u00a0<\/strong>has found a way to keep the belt &#8211; don&#8217;t defend it. After months of holding the stolen World title from Nick Gage, he finally won it late last year and is determined to keep it around his waist, as he travels the US, Canada, Europe, and Japan, cementing his legacy as one of the toughest hardcore guys around. He&#8217;s facing a hardcore veteran in <strong>Nate Webb<\/strong>. Webb has had a career resurgence in GCW since heading over in 2018 and his excellent work in GCW will surely continue on Saturday as he looks to defeat the champion in a non-title match and get into the title picture.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Nick Gage vs. Killer Kross<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_60486\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-60486\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-60486 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/01\/EMCRWOiXUAADtcA-e1578526964465.jpeg\" alt=\"GCW\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-60486\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: GCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>An absolute dream match for those who love their wrestling hard and aggressive. Nick Gage is still furious over losing his GCW World title last month and the undisputed King of American Hardcore is hoping to take it out with some ultraviolence on his opponent on Saturday night. It may be tougher than it seems, as he&#8217;s facing one of the most sought after free agents in the game right now, former IMPACT star <strong>Killer Kross<\/strong>. Kross is an intimidating specimen who only gets better the more aggressive his opponent is, and in this case, there aren&#8217;t many more aggressive than Gage.
