While he&#8217;d previously had a one-off with AEW at <em><strong>All Out<\/strong><\/em> in Chicago, Wednesday saw Arn Anderson officially join AEW as a new on-air presence.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"und\" dir=\"ltr\">AA <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rfD2Ld8sSN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/rfD2Ld8sSN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Cody Rhodes (@CodyRhodes) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CodyRhodes\/status\/1211667283023667200?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December 30, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>But the grounds were laid in Chicago, when Arn Anderson cut a promo putting over AEW and calling out his former tag team champion, <strong>Shawn Spears<\/strong> manager and fellow Four Horseman <strong>Tully Blanchard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cody Post Match at AEW All Out w\/ Arn Anderson\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/POH4IM8CHf0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Arn Anderson became available to AEW when he was let go by the WWE &#8211; the company he&#8217;d joined in 2001 when WWE took over WCW &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/03\/04\/alicia-fox-on-thin-ice-with-wwe-offered-rehab-for-incident-that-led-to-arn-anderson-dismissal\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">following a controversy<\/a> involving letting WWE Superstar Alicia Fox compete under the influence. But Anderson has headed to AEW where he will now guide the son of one of the Four Horsemen&#8217;s greatest rivals, Dusty Rhodes.
