In 2019 alone, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/04\/14\/johnny-time-one-last-time-scottish-wrestler-bowing-out-in-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Johnny Lions<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/05\/29\/end-of-the-chase-scottish-wrestler-michael-chase-to-retire\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Michael Chase<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/08\/04\/100-retired-af-scottish-wrestler-shaun-walker-announces-retirement\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Shaun Walker<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/09\/20\/jayla-dark-retire\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jayla Dark<\/strong><\/a> were just some of the names who said their goodbyes to Scottish wrestling fans.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"qme\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ThankYou?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#ThankYou<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cxDFmAJ26U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/cxDFmAJ26U<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Christopher Saynt (@ChriSaynt) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChriSaynt\/status\/1210225775191961600?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December 26, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Having been on the go since 2011, Saynt will leave behind him a nine-year career when he takes off his wrestling gear for the final time. Over that decade and a bit, The Patron Saint of Selfishness has competed up and down the UK, with his main homes today being <strong>Discovery Wrestling (DW)<\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/11\/23\/promotional-consideration-respect-pro-wrestling\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Respect Pro Wrestling<\/a> (Respect Pro)<\/strong>. As a former Respect Pro Tag Team Champion alongside his <strong>Sensational Scenebirds<\/strong> brethren <strong>Darrell Costello<\/strong>, Saynt was also awarded the 2018 Match of the Year award in Discovery Wrestling for his sensational (no pun intended) Y Division Championship bout with then-champion <strong>Joe Coffey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Discovery Wrestling - Christopher Saynt vs Joe Coffey\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZndfiojDkhI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>2019 has been an incredible year for Christopher, from this writer&#8217;s point of view at least. His rivalry in Discovery against former <strong>House of Saynt<\/strong> comrade <strong>Theo Doros<\/strong> was superb from start to finish, with Doros winning the final battle a few weeks ago at the <em><strong>Christmas Disco<\/strong><\/em> to earn a future Y Division Championship opportunity. Elsewhere, he and Costello defended their Respect Pro Tag Team Championships against former champs <strong>BMD<\/strong> (<strong>Bobby Roberts<\/strong> and <strong>JD Bravo<\/strong>) in a Kilbirnie Street Fight at the company&#8217;s biggest show to date, <em><strong>The Walker Brawl<\/strong><\/em>.
