A lot of fans have shown frustration in recent years. Shows like this limit any chance of having a TLC match some other time during the year. But, with that said, fans will have to deal with this at least once more and it is sure to be somewhat entertaining inside the ring despite the fact that television has been brutal in recent weeks and this PPV has played afterthought. It was just one year ago that the main event of WrestleMania rivalry between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey was refueled, as Ronda screwed Becky and allowed Asuka to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Can we get a moment like that? At least to start something big towards the Royal Rumble in January? Hopefully.

Aleister Black vs Buddy Murphy

Someone decided to pick a fight with Aleister Black. His name is Buddy Murphy and both of these superstars are riding streaks into this one. Aleister Black has yet to lose since being called to the main roster earlier this year but has had too much time away. Hopefully, this will be the match that makes Black stop asking to pick a fight and instead just fights. Murphy, on the other hand, has not lost since being drafted over to Monday Night Raw. The former Cruiserweight Champion has been filled with confidence that he knocked on the door of “The Dutch Destroyer” and now the match that could steal the night is here. This one will certainly be physical as a Black Mass or Murphy’s Law could get one of these two a win. Keep your eyes out for this one.

Rusev vs Bobby Lashley in a Tables Match

Reading this, you may be able to imagine the disgust as the most hated angle in wrestling may be finding his end. A tables match between Rusev and Bobby Lashley has been made as the rivalry they have been featured in officially comes to the squared circle in a tables match. Can Lana’s ex-husband get revenge after months of hate? Or is Bobby Lashley going to start a hot streak and get on track as a serious contender? It is a shame that most will not care about this one thanks to Lana, but these two have the ability to put on a good match.

Raw Tag Team Championships: The Viking Raiders (c) “Open Challenge”

Open Challenges can always lead to absolute entertainment. The Viking Raiders will have one for the second time in seven days. Had The Street Profits not answered the first challenge on Monday Night Raw and come up short, they would have been the perfect choice for this match on Sunday. So the brain starts to turn as to who could step up against the seemingly unstoppable Viking Raiders. Possibly The OC‘s Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who are the only ones to pin the Raiders. Or, maybe The Usos could have enough shock factor to upset the champions. No matter who answers, it should be exciting.

SmackDown Tag Team Championships: The New Day (c) vs The Revival in a Ladders Match

Tag team ladder matches are awesome. The New Day will defend their SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Revival on Sunday night in a ladder match. “Show stealing” has been said plenty already, but it will be said again with this match. Kofi Kingston and Big E have been apart of a team that has for most of the last decade been on top and are aiming to remain on top as the decade closes out. To do so, they will have to beat The Revival, the men they beat for the titles. The former champions will have to take to the air in this one. At least if they want to call themselves champs once again. On Friday night, they managed to get the last laugh for the most part on The New Day by hitting a Shatter Machine on Big E. Sit back and enjoy this show, as these two teams will put on a show Sunday night.

Roman Reigns vs King Corbin in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match

Mascots. Dog food. At times miserable television. But if there is anything these two could do, it’s put on a good match. Especially under TLC rules. Roman Reigns has been the butt of the joke for long enough and Friday on SmackDown was just the start of him getting payback. King Corbin was running away from Reigns on Friday but has nowhere to hide this weekend. Selling this match to the fans is tough, but this really can be the start for Roman Reigns to not only get back on track but to do so in dominant fashion. Of course, Corbin will get in his own offense at times, but “The Big Dog” is beginning his long-term WrestleMania hunt. Destruction will be had with tables, ladders, and chairs. First its the king. Then it could be the Rumble. Buckle up for “The Rise of The Big Dog”.

Universal Champion Bray Wyatt vs The Miz

The Miz is on the run but at the same time has to stand up for his family and life. The monster that is attempting to ruin his “perfect” is not “The Fiend”, but Bray Wyatt himself. The leader of the Firefly Fun House will be leaving his place of residence for the first time. “The Fiend” remains occupied with Daniel Bryan. The Miz will be more prepared than ever to fight for his family. Since Bray Wyatt returned all the way back in April, he has not been weakened for a single second. But what The Miz must realize is that Wyatt has alluded to what may weaken him when it comes to the family idea and the old him. If, and only if, The Miz can attack those possible weaknesses, he can walk out of TLC as a winner over the Universal Champion.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs Charlotte Flair and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in a Tables, Ladders, and Chair Match

The main event for TLC has not been announced. However, if one was to choose it should be the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match that will be held under Tables, Ladders, and Chairs rules. This hot feud has become one of the better things on Raw. The Kabuki Warriors have been incredible in their run as champions, as both Asuka and Kairi Sane‘s new attitudes have brought them great success. And the way we got to this match was the heels standing strong, as Asuka and Sane challenged Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch after beating them down this past Monday. Charlotte went to “The Man” originally but did not find a partner like she had hoped. This led to the Raw Women’s Champion going against The Kabuki Warriors alone to collect an old debt but did not come up successful.

Lynch was beaten down and elbowed through a table by Sane and left her out. This was followed up by a brutal beating of Flair which gets us to this match. Offered up by Asuka and Sane, answered and changed to TLC by the challengers. Not only can this be match of the night, but one of the best PPV bouts of the year. These four women will be going to war for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in a match that finally makes them truly important.
