{"id":58496,"date":"2019-11-24T06:47:22","date_gmt":"2019-11-24T11:47:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/?p=58496"},"modified":"2019-11-24T06:47:42","modified_gmt":"2019-11-24T11:47:42","slug":"hazuki-announces-retirement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2019\/11\/24\/hazuki-announces-retirement\/","title":{"rendered":"Breaking: Hazuki Announces Her Retirement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Oedo Tai member and former High Speed Champion <strong>Hazuki<\/strong> has announced that she will retire at <em>Stardom Year End Climax<\/em> on December 24th.\u00a0 The announcement comes as a shock and continues a tumultuous two days for Oedo Tai.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hazuki announced her retirement on Dec 24 at Korakuen Hall.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; We Are Stardom (@we_are_stardom) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/we_are_stardom\/status\/1198546529700573184?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">November 24, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The twenty-two-year-old debuted for Stardom back in 2014 as\u00a0<strong>Reo Hazuki<\/strong>.\u00a0 She wouldn&#8217;t find much success until 2017 as a part of\u00a0<strong>Queen&#8217;s Quest\u00a0<\/strong>now known as HZK she would capture the Artist Of Stardom championships four times that year.<\/p>\n<p>It would be as a member of Oedo Tai though where Hazuki really came into her own as she captured the Stardom High Speed championship in 2018 and would go on a fantastic seven month run with the title as she knocked away multiple challengers like\u00a0<strong>Starlight Kid, AZM\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Saki Kashima<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>2019 would also be the year she had great title challenges for the World Of Stardom and Wonder Of Stardom championships that put her on the map as a potential star.<\/p>\n<p>Stardom loses one of its biggest potential stars with Hazuki&#8217;s retirement and Oedo Tai loses another name, having just lost <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/11\/23\/queens-quest-artist-of-stardom-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Andras Miyagi<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 The future of Oedo Tai will be interesting to follow going forward but the one thing we know for sure is that Hazuki will be a big loss to Stardom.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/a>\u00a0for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
