Pro Wrestling: EVE present’s their annual round-robin tournament the She-1 this weekend.\u00a0 The tournament showcases some of the best women’s wrestlers from all over the world and this year is no different with\u00a0Gatoh Move’s\u00a0<\/strong>Mei Suruga<\/strong>,\u00a0Nicole Savoy<\/strong>, Mercedes Martinez<\/strong>, and the legendary\u00a0Jazz\u00a0<\/strong>all taking part in the tournament.<\/p>\n

She-1 2019 Block A<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mercedes Martinez<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"She-1<\/p>\n

A legend of women’s wrestling Mercedes Martinez headlines block A.\u00a0 An eighteen-year veteran Martinez has long been regarded as one of the best unsigned talents in the world and has recently made appearances for AEW.\u00a0 She has captured titles in promotions all over the world from Australia to the US and even the UK where she is the current Bellatrix World Champion<\/p>\n

Aleah James<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

James has come out of nowhere to be one of the scene’s breakout stars in 2019.\u00a0 Her biggest opportunity to date has come as part of\u00a0Schadenfreude & Friends\u00a0<\/em>which has elevated her into a known name in the UK wrestling scene.\u00a0 Has wrestled for some big companies in the scene like Riptide Wrestling<\/strong>,\u00a0Battle Pro Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>, and the aforementioned Schadenfreude & Friends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Angel Hayze<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"She-1<\/p>\n

A talent that has been making her name in Scotland and is the prize student of\u00a0Fierce Females<\/strong>.\u00a0 She has notably had a big feud with mentor\u00a0Sammii Jayne\u00a0<\/strong>in Discovery Wrestling<\/a> and has had the biggest year of her career in 2019 making her debut in EVE,\u00a0Insane Championship Wrestling <\/strong>and\u00a0TNT Extreme Wrestling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kasey<\/strong><\/h4>\n

One of the mainstays of the UK womens scene Kasey Owens rounds out the block.\u00a0 She is a three-time ICW women’s champion, former Queen Of Southside champion and the current TNT Women’s champion.\u00a0 A nine-year veteran she has wrestled for\u00a0IMPACT! Wrestling, WWE\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0World Of Sport<\/strong> as well as various indies.<\/p>\n

She-1 2019 <\/strong>Block B<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gisele Shaw<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"She-1<\/p>\n

Shaw has made a real name for herself in 2019.\u00a0 Originally cutting her teeth in Canada after training at the Storm Wrestling Academy she has spent 2019 wowing audiences in the UK and becoming a popular figure in places like\u00a0Wrestle Gate Pro\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Over The Top Wrestling<\/strong>.\u00a0 Whether wowing fans with her high flying or showing off with her hard chops Shaw is one of the best wrestlers in the UK right now and is in an absolutely stacked B block that could blow the roof off the ResGal.<\/p>\n

Laura Di Matteo<\/strong><\/h4>\n

One of the most underrated wrestlers in the UK scene right now Laura Di Matteo gets a chance to shine here in a loaded She-1 block.\u00a0 The interim GWF Women’s champion has had some fantastic showings in EVE this year, namely her match with\u00a0Jordynne Grace\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Arisa Hoshiki<\/strong>, and will be looking to use this tournament to prove she’s one of the best in EVE.<\/p>\n

Nicole Savoy<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"She-1<\/p>\n

From the US the ace of\u00a0SHIMMER\u00a0<\/strong>Nicole Savoy comes to EVE for her debut.\u00a0 An eight-year veteran Savoy has wrestled for all the major women’s promotions in the US and in particular dominates in SHIMMER where she is a former Heart of SHIMMER Champion and former SHIMMER champion.\u00a0 She made her AEW debut this year and is now looking to make a big impact in her EVE debut.<\/p>\n

Millie McKenzie<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Part of the Medusa Complex Millie McKenzie has really fulfilled her potential this year.\u00a0 She has been a mainstay in multiple major UK promotions ever since her debut and was considered a future star from day one.\u00a0 In 2019 she has spent a lot of time in Japan with\u00a0Sendai Girls\u00a0<\/strong>which has seen her improve and even win the Sendai Girls tag team titles<\/a>.\u00a0 She rounds out a stacked B block and will be looking to get one over on EVE by winning their biggest tournament of the year.<\/p>\n

She-1 2019 <\/strong>Block C<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mei Suruga<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"She-1<\/p>\n

Representing Gatoh Move we have one of the best wrestlers in the world Mei Suruga.\u00a0 Suruga uses her insane athleticism to pull off moves at a high speed and can deliver some of the sickest dropkicks in the business.\u00a0 Whether the tiny mats of Ichigoya Chocolate Square or the regular ring of Shinkiba 1st Ring Suruga impresses everywhere she goes.\u00a0 Look for her to pull out something fun with the ResGal wall<\/p>\n

Jetta<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The woman of many nicknames Jetta became one-half of the inaugural EVE tag team champions earlier this year at WrestleQueendom.\u00a0 It’s already been a big year for the British wrestling veteran and it is her aim to get her first ever she-1 win.\u00a0 Once a hated heel she is now a crowd favourite and will have the full support of the ResGal crowd for this one.<\/p>\n

Rhia O’Reilly<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"She-1<\/p>\n

A nine veteran and only the second three-time EVE Champion Rhia O’Reilly is one of the toughest wrestlers there is.\u00a0 She shocked the world at the end of WrestleQueendom 2 when she used her matchmaking powers to become the EVE champion and joined forces with Livvii Grace\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Nightshade.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>May still be knocking off ring rust from her injury but a formidable opponent.<\/p>\n

Jazz<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A twenty-one-year veteran, former ECW and WWE competitor, former WWE women’s champion and former NWA Women’s champion Jazz has done it all in the business and twenty-one years in is still as badass as ever.\u00a0 She was the final wildcard entry into the she-1 and will have everyone in Block C fearing for their lives.<\/p>\n
