Isla’s last appearance in a Discovery ring came in September 2018, where she lost to “Fearless” Charlie Morgan, but The White Witch has since gone on to compete on shows for PROGRESS Wrestling and Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), while also unsuccessfully challenging Rhea Ripley for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. Speaking of Johnny Lions, the pair teamed up at Discovery’s most recent show in a losing effort to The Kings of Catch, with Lions ambushing Damien backstage after the match, and blaming it on Andy Wild (Wild had refused to reform The Wild Lions for the bout, resulting in Damien stepping in instead). They lost to The Kings of Catch at July’s Camp Discovery show, later attacking referee Sean McLaughlin outside the building afterwards as they blamed him for the loss. Due to the assault, Sean asked Discovery management to give him a match with The Anti-Fun Police, which he was granted as long as he could find himself a tag team partner. Considering how much Discovery roster members there are who aren’t huge fans of The Anti-Fun Police, it didn’t take much persuading for a total of five individuals to step forward as Sean’s partner, in the form of Aspen Faith, Lewis Girvan, Kid Fite, Lou King Sharp, and Krieger. They have also met in Discovery before though, with Coffey successfully defending the Y Division strap against both Gunn and Aspen Faith in May 2018, with Faith adding himself to the match by cashing in his Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational Tournament title opportunity. While Angel is a terrific talent in her own right, Jayne did put forward a word for her to Discovery management, which made it that bit more interesting when The Young Lioness eliminated the inaugural Women’s Champion from March’s Disco Derby Match. Since that moment, the pair have come to blows on two other occasions, with Angel first scoring an upset victory over The Main Event Empress in July, before they were both unsuccessful in a bid to capture the Women’s Championship from Martina just last month.
