Indie Watch is our regular series that looks at all of the amazing talents working the independent circuits around the world. Some are veterans revitalizing their careers, some are indie prospects hitting their peaks, while others are names to be on the watch for! In this edition, we will be taking a look at 22-year old Atticus Cogar, who is breaking out of the Midwest and ready to make his Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) debut at the end of October.<\/i><\/p>\n

The Midwest continues to be a plethora of talent for pro wrestling<\/a>, producing some of the top talent at every level, as well as providing one of the greatest concentrations of top independent promotions in the country. One such talent on the verge of exploding nationally is Cleveland, Ohio’s Atticus Cogar<\/strong>. A cold and calculating psychopath inside and outside the ring, his horror is more akin to the mind games of Hannibal Lecter<\/strong> than being a simple slasher like Jason Voorhees<\/strong>. On Monday, October 21, GCW announced the latest GCW debut for their upcoming\u00a0Jimmy Lloyd’s Halloween Fright Fest<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/em>in Atticus Cogar. And for those who follow GCW, this should be exciting news – GCW has made a habit the past year of discovering some of the best regional stars and pushing them into a national conversation, such as stars like\u00a0Marko Stunt<\/a>, Jungle Boy<\/a>, Alex Zayne<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Blake Christian<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in the past year alone. And the next Midas touch just may be Atticus Cogar.<\/p>\n
