Last year, Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong> initiated The Collective<\/strong><\/a>, a series of showcases from partnering indie promotions, plus a few fun theme parties. Based around its centerpiece, Joey Janela’s Spring Break<\/strong><\/em>, it became one of the best-attended series of events over WrestleMania<\/strong> week’s plethora of indie events. The Collective is returning in 2020<\/a> in Tampa, Florida, with them taking over The Cuban Club in Ybor City for the week. They’ve already announced the return of Joey Janela’s Spring Break 4<\/strong><\/em>, plus EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch<\/strong><\/em> and an event from hardcore underground promotion Suburban Fight Pro Wrestling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It’s been a flurry of announcements since the initial two were revealed last week, with several more promotions signing up, and another themed event.<\/p>\n

The GCW Collective 2020: Markus Crane’s Bondage A Go Go<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This has all the trappings of being a Motley Crue<\/strong> video filmed in a fight club in LA, as filmed by Rob Zombie<\/strong>. Markus Crane<\/strong> is a sick individual, who enjoys hurting himself as much as he does opponents. He’s throwing a show featuring “no ring” deathmatches inside the bar, plus live music and live BDSM performances.<\/p>\n

Black Label Pro\u00a0<\/strong>(Indiana):\u00a0Threat Level Midnight<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Black Label Pro<\/strong> returns again for their second appearance with The Collective, after throwing Adventures in Wrestling<\/strong><\/em><\/a> last year in New Jersey. BLP has exploded in the past year, going from a strong local promotion to strong Midwest promotion to one of the US indie’s strongest independents. They’ve announced their event in 2020 will be\u00a0Threat Level Midnight.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Pizza Party Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>(New Jersey)<\/h3>\n

Pizza Party Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>actually threw their debut show last WrestleMania week<\/a> in their home of New Jersey and ran independently, but this year they’ll be joining The Collective in Tampa. They had a surprisingly good show out of the gate, featuring Robbie Eagles<\/strong> just before he exploded in New Japan. They’ve continued as an ongoing promotion, throwing two more shows since – including one in Philadelphia – and look to go into WrestleMania week in Tampa strong.<\/p>\n

Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS\u00a0<\/strong>(Japan)<\/h3>\n

The most recent announcement is that one of Japan’s most violent deathmatch promotions, Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS<\/strong>, will be coming over to hold their first-ever US event. GCW fans are no strangers to FREEDOMS top stars, as they’ve come to various GCW events in the US over the past few years, with GCW making their Japanese debut recently working with them as well. The reigning 4x King of FREEDOM Champion and Japanese deathmatch legend Jun Kasai<\/strong> is most likely coming over which will be worth the price of admission alone if you’re a deathmatch fan.<\/p>\n
