Since Billy Corgan purchased the brand and rebooted the NWA, its stars have worked alongside multiple indies, including Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, as well as being featured as part of Ring of Honor and last year&#8217;s All In. With\u00a0<em>NWA Power\u00a0<\/em>kicking off a new era for the NWA, here&#8217;s a look at the roster for the next set of tapings. While there are spoilers for those who are appearing for NWA, it does NOT include any match spoilers.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Men&#8217;s Division<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>ARON STEVENS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55647\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/22220602_1854983164815895_8990500602282770432_n-e1570562702151.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"500\"><\/p>\n<p>The artist formerly known as <strong>Damien Sandow<\/strong> in WWE and<strong> Aron Rex<\/strong> in <strong>IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong> makes his return to the ring after a two-year sabbatical as a new member of the NWA men&#8217;s roster.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>CALEB KONLEY<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_55649\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-55649\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-55649\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/ee611a36638d012e01589a627d6b71f7aa82f25er1-970-970v2_hq-e1570562780711.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-55649\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: IMPACT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A Georgia native himself, <strong>Caleb Konley<\/strong> is another IMPACT Wrestling star making the move to NWA. An indie veteran of the Mid Atlantic and Southern indies, the former X-Division star was a member of the <strong>Cult of Lee<\/strong> with<strong> Trevor Lee<\/strong> (now Cameron Grimes in NXT).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>COLT CABANA<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_55650\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-55650\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-55650\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/colt1-e1570562904263.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"259\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-55650\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: ROH<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>An indie legend best known for his work with <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong>, <strong>Colt Cabana<\/strong> is also a former 2x NWA World&#8217;s Heavyweight Champion and was recently the NWA National Heavyweight Champion before losing it to &#8220;Cowboy&#8221; <strong>James Storm<\/strong> in a dark match for ROH tapings this past June.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>&#8220;COWBOY&#8221; JAMES STORM, NWA National Heavyweight Champion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55651\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/pjimage-4-3-696x392-e1570562968743.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><\/p>\n<p>The former IMPACT World Champion and tag team specialist has been a part of the NWA for the bulk of 2019 and is the reigning NWA National Heavyweight Champion.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>ELI DRAKE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_28116\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28116\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28116\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/10\/436ae-1528433332-800-e1539313377361.jpg\" alt=\"Eli Drake\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-28116\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: IMPACT Wrestling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Eli Drake<\/strong> left IMPACT Wrestling earlier this year and soon after debuted for the NWA at <em><strong>ROH Best in the World<\/strong><\/em> when he teamed with NWA World Champion <strong>Nick Aldis<\/strong> against the <strong>Briscoes<\/strong>. Eli Drake is expected to become a huge face of\u00a0<em>NWA Power<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>JOCEPHUS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55652\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/a2036194abjocephusbrody-e1570563043604.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"334\" height=\"500\"><\/p>\n<p>A 10-year veteran of the US indies, the Nashville native was a huge rival of <strong>Tim Storm<\/strong>&#8216;s NWA title reign under Billy Corgan since 2017. Following his work against Storm (and his successor Nick Aldis), Jocephus has been brought into the NWA fold.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>MR. ANDERSON<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55653\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/Mr-Anderson-645x370-e1570563091772.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"344\"><\/p>\n<p>Also known as <strong>Mr. Kennedy<\/strong> during his WWE run, <strong>Mr. Anderson<\/strong>\u00a0is another former 2x IMPACT World Heavyweight Champion. Mr. Kennedy has been off TV for some time, last appearing for IMPACT in 2016, but he&#8217;s still been active on the US and international indies and teaching at his wrestling school in Minnesota.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>NICK ALDIS, NWA World&#8217;s Heavyweight Champion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55654\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/1bfa069735e4d41da1f104fdfe2bf250-e1570563140248.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"377\" height=\"600\"><\/p>\n<p>Following his defeat of Tim Storm in late 2017, Nick Aldis went on a 266-day reign as the NWA World&#8217;s Heavyweight Champion. After losing to <strong>Cody Rhodes<\/strong> at\u00a0<em>All In<\/em>, he soon regained the belt and is now on his second reign, now at 352-days strong. He&#8217;s held world championship gold before, as TNA World Champion in 2013, but for the past three years, he&#8217;s been the undeniable face of the new NWA.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>THE QUESTION MARK<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A strange new character debuting at the NWA tapings, there&#8217;s not much known about this mysterious man&#8217;s identity, other than he&#8217;s working his way up the ladder quickly.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>RICKY STARKS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55655\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/D6uYh-1UYAATm6u-e1570563417414.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ricky Starks<\/strong> is a rising indie star from the Texas indies, who gained international indie celebrity as one half of <strong>Extra Talented<\/strong> with <strong>Aaron Solow<\/strong>. He&#8217;s been focusing more on singles work the past year and is now poised as one of the young studs the NWA will be working around.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>TIM STORM<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55656\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/13891816_1057825717628742_4652539887408756461_n-e1570563455779.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<p>For 414-days, both prior to and after Billy Corgan&#8217;s purchase, Tim Storm had a monstrous reign as the NWA World&#8217;s Heavyweight Champion. He remained champion after Corgan&#8217;s reboot and the NWA team really got behind the 50-something indie wrestler who&#8217;s been competing for nearly 20 years. He makes his return to the NWA at <em>NWA <\/em><em>Power<\/em> and will be looking to regain his gold from Aldis.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>TREVOR MURDOCH<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_55648\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-55648\" style=\"width: 268px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-55648\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/TrevorMurdochmic.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"268\" height=\"352\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/TrevorMurdochmic.jpg 268w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/TrevorMurdochmic-228x300.jpg 228w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 268px) 100vw, 268px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-55648\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another former WWE hand,<strong> Trevor Murdoch<\/strong> has a successful run from 2005 through 2008, where he teamed with <strong>Lance Cade<\/strong> and became 3x WWE Tag Team Champions. Following his departure from WWE, he briefly appeared with IMPACT as <strong>Jethro Holliday<\/strong>. He took a bit of a sabbatical from pro wrestling, but returns to the ring as a part of the new NWA.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Women&#8217;s Division<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>ALLYSIN KAY, NWA World Women&#8217;s Champion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_55657\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-55657\" style=\"width: 443px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-55657\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/D5XgdzxUYAEcC6T-e1570563510225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-55657\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: NWA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As\u00a0<strong>Sienna,\u00a0<\/strong>she was a former 2x IMPACT Knockouts Champion, but <strong>Allysin Kay<\/strong> has been an indie veteran for over a decade, working for <strong>SHIMMER, Shine Wrestling<\/strong> (where she&#8217;s also the current 2x Shine Champion), and in 2018, competed in the second Mae Young Classic with the WWE. She captured the NWA World Women&#8217;s Championship early this year and has been champion over 160 days.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>ASHLEY VOX<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55660\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/Ashley_Vox_profile-e1570563671504.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ashley Vox<\/strong>\u00a0is best known as being one half of the\u00a0<strong>Sea Stars<\/strong>, alongside her sister\u00a0<strong>Delmi Exo<\/strong>. Debuting in 2015, with Sea Stars they became indie darlings in\u00a0<strong>CHIKARA<\/strong>\u00a0starting in 2016. Since then, the duo has become a top tag team on the US indies with\u00a0<strong>Beyond Wrestling, SHIMMER, RISE<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong>. But Ashley has also established herself as a singles competitor as well and will be entering the NWA to prove her worth in singles action.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>MARTI BELLE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55658\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/29512462_1697072397016306_2862275916460226509_n-e1570563703690.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Marti Belle<\/strong>\u00a0has been a veteran of the New York City indies since 2009, and burst onto the mainstream consciousness with\u00a0<strong>IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong>\u00a0from 2014 to 2016, as a member of the Dollhouse. She left IMPACT in early 2017 and appeared on the inaugural\u00a0<em><strong>WWE Mae Young Classic<\/strong><\/em>. She continues to work regularly with SHIMMER,\u00a0<strong>Shine<\/strong>, and many other US indies.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>THUNDER ROSA<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55661\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/10\/Thunder_Rosa_-_12032930-e1570563716666.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"408\" height=\"500\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thunder Rosa<\/strong> is arguably one of the most known name of the women&#8217;s division, after a breakout appearance on <strong>Lucha Underground<\/strong>\u00a0as\u00a0<strong>Kobra Moon<\/strong>, and as part of the US indie tag team dynamos\u00a0<strong>Twisted Sisterz<\/strong>. She also portrays\u00a0<strong>Serpentine<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0<strong>Women of Wrestling (WOW)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tag Team Division<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>THE DAWSONS (Dave &amp; Zane Dawson)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55251\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/09\/Screen-Shot-2019-09-30-at-8.03.49-PM-e1569888264564.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"269\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Brothers Dave<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Zane Dawson<\/strong>\u00a0have been tag team regulars in the Mid Atlantic area since 2007. Starting out with\u00a0<strong>United Pro Wrestling Association (UPWA)<\/strong>\u00a0in North Carolina, before becoming stars with\u00a0<strong>Carolina Wrestling Federation (CWF) Mid Atlantic<\/strong>\u00a0in Gibsonville, NC. In 2018 they joined another promotion in North Carolina,\u00a0<strong>America\u2019s Most Liked (AML)<\/strong>\u00a0Wrestling, where they\u2019re already 2x AML Tag Team Champions (with another in CWF Mid Atlantic and UPWA). They made their NWA debut earlier this year as one of the teams in the rebooted\u00a0<em><strong>Crockett Cup<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Wildcard Battle Royal to kick off the event (which was ultimately won by the new NWA World Tag Team Champions,\u00a0<strong>The Wildcards<\/strong>, featuring Royce Isaacs &amp; Thomas Latimer).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>OUTLAW INC. (Eddie Kingston &amp; Homicide)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-55250\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/09\/0cac3872ed9bdd15f8707c7eff5c8872e4aa7070r1-985-985v2_hq-e1569887944824.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eddie Kingston<\/strong>\u00a0had previously announced he was heading to the NWA tapings, but he never said who his partner would be. But in a segment at the Atlanta studios, Eddie Kingston revealed his partner to be NYC indie legend\u00a0<strong>Homicide<\/strong>, who Kingston has a long history beside in Outlaw Inc. From 2011 in CZW to a two-year stint in Ring of Honor from 2013 through 2014, to IWA Mid South and Beyond Wrestling, and even reuniting in IMPACT Wrestling as part of the LAX factions. The won gold in the trenches of New York\/New Jersey with Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) and in the battlefields of IWA Mid South.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>THE ROCK N&#8217; ROLL EXPRESS (Robert Gibson &amp; Ricky Morton)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8042\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8042\" style=\"width: 445px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8042\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/09\/rocknrollexpress-1485913850-800-e1570560920896.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"445\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8042\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Pro Wrestling Illustrated<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Arguably the greatest NWA tag team of all time, the <strong>Rock N&#8217; Roll Express<\/strong> are <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2019\/09\/29\/rock-roll-is-king-the-unlikely-2019-of-the-rock-n-roll-express\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">having a resurgence in 2019<\/a>, appearing for the likes of ROH, NJPW, and <strong>Beyond Wrestling<\/strong>. They&#8217;re returning to their roots to become a part of the new NWA and bring some old time tradition to\u00a0<em>NWA Power.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>THE WILDCARDS (Royce Isaacs &amp; Thomas Latimer), NWA World Tag Team Champions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_53827\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-53827\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-53827\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/09\/ED5ra8jX4Ac3lNL-e1568062663344.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-53827\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: ROH\/Honor Club<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The ad hoc tandem of <strong>Royce Isaacs &amp; Thomas Latimer<\/strong> gained entry into the 2019 edition of the<em><strong>\u00a0Crockett Cup<\/strong><\/em> by winning the Wildcard Battle Royal at the event\u2019s start, and then defeated the team of <strong>Flip Gordon &amp; Bandido<\/strong> to advance to the finals, where they were beaten by Villain Enterprises for the vacant NWA World Tag Team Championships. Earlier this past September, the team of Isaacs &amp; Latimer (now dubbed The Wildcards) won the titles at the ROH\/CMLL <em><strong>Global Wars Espectacular.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Royce Isaacs is an emerging star from the West Coast, best known as being part of the\u00a0<strong>One Percent<\/strong>\u00a0alongside\u00a0<strong>Jorel Nelson<\/strong>, who captured the\u00a0<strong>DEFY<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW)<\/strong>\u00a0Tag Team titles last year. Isaacs is also a regular with\u00a0<strong>Championship Wrestling From Hollywood<\/strong>, where he\u2019s a former UWN Television Champion. Thomas Latimer is best known by the ring name\u00a0<strong>Bram<\/strong>, from his four year run with\u00a0<strong>IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong>\u00a0where he was a former TNA King of the Mountain Champion and member of\u00a0<strong>Death Crew Council<\/strong>\u00a0with \u201cCowboy\u201d\u00a0<strong>James Storm<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Eddie Kingston<\/strong>.
