After a last-minute injury forced <strong>Julian Pace<\/strong> to withdraw his team, <strong>VollGasteren<\/strong>, alongside <strong>Leon van Gasteren<\/strong>, from the tournament, the team of <strong>Prince Ahura<\/strong> and <strong>Maggot<\/strong> &#8211; together the <strong>Pretty Bastards<\/strong> &#8211; were a last-minute substitute in the tournament. But luck struck the subs and they advanced through the tournament, defeating <strong>Jay-AA<\/strong> (Absolute Andy &amp; Jay Skillet), <strong>David Starr &amp; Norman Harras<\/strong>, and then finally upsetting the <strong>Arrows of Hungary<\/strong> and NXT&#8217;s <strong>Oney Lorcan &amp; Danny Burch<\/strong> in the finals, to win the 2018 wXw World Tag Festival and become crowned the new wXw World Tag Team Champions.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/wXwGermany\/status\/1180917762488750081<\/p>\n<p>Products of the <strong>wXw Academy<\/strong>, the Pretty Bastards have been teaming together since 2017, working with <strong>German Hurricane Wrestling (GHW), Classic Wrestling Entertainment (CWE)<\/strong>, and other indie promotions in Germany and Europe, before finally clicking in wXw in 2018. They&#8217;ve seen the lights more often than not in their wXw career so far, but elsewhere they&#8217;re also the reigning GHW Tag Team Champions.
