Despite this, the former Nixon Newell put up quite the heroic performance, including nailing the Welsh Destroyer and the Shiniest Wizard to no avail. After she went knee-first into the ring post though, it was the beginning of the end for The Girl With The Shiniest Wizard as KLR planted her with the Dirty Bomb for the three count. The Scottish duo would then set their sights on Wales&#8217; golden boy Bird, with the NXT UK Tag Team Champions <strong>Mark Andrews<\/strong> and <strong>Flash Morgan Webster<\/strong> attempting to save their fellow Welshman, only to be ambushed by <strong>Joe Coffey<\/strong>, the third member of Gallus. Never fear though, as <strong>Imperium<\/strong> member <strong>Alexander Wolfe<\/strong> would step up to face The Muscle Cat in Ilja&#8217;s place, while also telling Dragunov to think about his future (insinuating he&#8217;d be a viable asset to Imperium). As expected, the German dominated the bout, but Saxon did manage to get in tiny flurries of offence here and there. An impactful sitout powerbomb was enough for Wolfe to pick up the victory as Saxon puts another tick in the loss column. It&#8217;s not been the best of times for him since <em>NXT UK<\/em> began &#8211; it doesn&#8217;t matter if he&#8217;s in singles competition or tag action with former pal <strong>Tyson T-Bone<\/strong>, Saxon Huxley just can&#8217;t pick up a victory.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Oh, Flower Of Scotland<\/strong><\/h3>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The spells of the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/WhiteWitch?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#WhiteWitch<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IslaDawn?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@IslaDawn<\/a> don&#39;t seem to be scaring the FIESTY @viperpiperniven! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NXTUK?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#NXTUK<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/94kJ9BZaVr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/94kJ9BZaVr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; WWE (@WWE) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WWE\/status\/1179835675970916357?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">October 3, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Opening up the show this week was an all-Scottish women&#8217;s match as <strong>Piper Niven<\/strong> took on <strong>Isla Dawn<\/strong>. Despite having the size advantage over The White Witch, it didn&#8217;t mean Piper had the match in full control, as Isla did perform a huge backdrop driver on the larger Vixen of Violence. When it came down to it though, Piper dished out a vicious headbutt to Isla followed by the Viper Driver (or is it the Piper Driver now?) for the victory as her road to the NXT UK Women&#8217;s Championship begins now.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What Else?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In addition to all of that, Piper Niven and <strong>Jazzy Gabert<\/strong> had a brief brawl backstage (a match has since been scheduled between them for next week&#8217;s episode), plus a promo package aired to hype up <strong>The Hunt<\/strong> (<strong>The Primate<\/strong> and <strong>Mike Hitchman<\/strong>), who return to action on next week&#8217;s <em>NXT UK<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"td-post-content tagdiv-type\">\n<div class=\"td-post-content tagdiv-type\">\n<div class=\"td-post-content tagdiv-type\">\n<p>Stay tuned to the<a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/a>\u00a0for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
