Starting in 2017, Revolution Pro (RevPro)<\/strong> has been holding the British J Cup<\/strong><\/em>, a tournament based on the Super J Cup<\/strong><\/em> tournament featuring the best junior heavyweights held by their IWGP Conception affiliate, New Japan Pro Wrestling<\/strong>. The inaugural tournament in 2017 featured the likes of Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll<\/strong>, and Kyle O’Reilly<\/strong> competing against NJPW’s Ryusuke Taguchi, KUSHIDA<\/strong>, and eventual winner, Jushin Thunder Liger<\/strong>. Last year’s second installment was won by Canadian El Phantasmo<\/strong><\/a> (who became a huge UK indie standout), prior to him joining Bullet Club<\/a> earlier this year, in a field that featured KUSHIDA, Liger, Tiger Mask IV, Bandido, David Starr, Kip Sabian, Rich Swann<\/strong>, and more. The third annual\u00a0British J Cup\u00a0<\/em>will be held at the end of November in the East End of London, England, and RevPro has started to announce this year’s entrants and they’ve started with two huge international talents.<\/p>\n
