Alexander’s shoulder was left injured but that would not stop “The Soul of 205 Live” from putting his all into the match to possibly win and move on. Baron Corbin was fresh into the matchup, which eventually would matter when he’d have enough despite the impressive showing on Alexander’s part to pull out the victory following an End of Days. This was yet another star making performance for Cedric, who had the crowd in the palm of his hand. For Corbin, the thoughts of “King Corbin” remain real.

King of the Ring Quarterfinals: Samoa Joe vs Ricochet

Someone would say the two favorites remaining on the red brand, Ricochet looked to slay Samoa Joe and move on in the King of the Ring tournament and face Corbin next week at Madison Square Garden. Shockingly, Sasha Banks came down to the ring and made the match end in DQ when she put down Becky Lynch as they prepared to clash at Clash of Champions. Banks would go and grab a chair to once again beat down Lynch like she did weeks ago. Bayley would roll back into the ring and rip the chair out of Banks’ hands trying to stop the carnage on Lynch. But then Bayley would look back at her best friend with a smile, leading to her wailing away on the back of Lynch as the show came to a close. Bayley and Sasha are back in cahoots once again and it should be glorious.

As the WWE prepares for the first live Raw and SmackDown shows at Madison Square Garden in a decade next week, there is one semifinal match set.
