He’s won Gold already in the Northwest and won the Limitless Tournament in Las Vegas this past April. With this contest on his home court, Spencer will be very tough to beat. Will Douglas be able to take his success from last month to Washington Hall and takedown arguably the best DEFY Champion yet?

Matt Cross vs Judas Icarus

For the first time since losing to Ultimo Dragon, last March Indie Legend Matt Cross gets back into a DEFY ring. He takes on young star Judas Icarus who is part of the hottest Tag Team in DEFY The Uprising (w/Eli Surge). However, this is an entirely different ballgame, and the 38-year-old will be tough to stop in this spot. We still don’t know if the success Icarus had in Tag will translate into singles competition, and Matt Cross is an outstanding barometer to measure it.

SCHAFF vs Christopher Daniels

The Baddest Mother F***er in professional Wrestling SCHAFF has had issues with a revolving door of opponents lately up and down the coast. He’s shared the ring with plenty of opponents larger than him and will concoct the appropriate strategy. SCHAFF needs to be patient and not go too fast. Daniels likes to counter he will bait him in to take the Monster out of his game.

Mike Santiago vs Cody Chhun

These two shared a ring in June dropping a Scramble to the aforementioned SCHAFF, and now they face-off for the right to compete Saturday. Santiago is a former Tag Champion with Ethan HD as Amerikan Gunz, but since they lost to WARBEAST in May and now he’s gone the single’s route. That hasn’t worked well for him in the Scramble or in a prior defeat to Brian Cage. Chhun has been wildly successful in the Tag Team Division with multiple partners, but he’s lost his last two forays in singles competition. They were Scramble matches of course, and now we’ll really get to see what Chhun is capable of one on one.

Super 8XGP Non-Tournament Matches

Tama Tonga vs Ethan HD

Photo: Defy

The other Amerikan Gun meets one of the toughest wrestlers in the world in Tama Tonga.
