After a <strong>Bullet Club<\/strong>-esque invasion to make their WWE debut as a tag team following their departure from NJPW in 2016, Gallows &amp; Anderson saw immediate results paired with fellow Bullet Club alumni <strong>AJ Styles<\/strong> in <strong>The Club<\/strong>. But once The Club was unceremoniously dissolved, Anderson &amp; Gallows became a comedy act whose appearances grew less and less frequent.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Luke Gallows &amp; Karl Anderson attack Roman Reigns: Raw, April 18, 2016\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/to_RD0tNKOE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With the rise of <strong>All Elite Wrestling (AEW)<\/strong>, run by former Bullet Club running mates <strong>Kenny Omega &amp; The Young Bucks<\/strong>, and the duo&#8217;s former employers NJPW looking to expand into North America, it seemed that combined with WWE&#8217;s misuse of tag team wrestling in general and their own infrequent usage, that Luke Gallows &amp; Karl Anderson would seek greener pastures elsewhere. But then a funny thing happened. The Club reformed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-50037\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/07\/95a8d-15492995813814-800-e1562469210487.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"348\"><\/p>\n<p>For the past few weeks, AJ Styles has been riding his former Club-mates for not having that killer instinct they had in Japan anymore. This past Monday, AJ Styles finally turned heel once again, re-aligning with Luke Gallows &amp; Karl Anderson in The Club as they took out WWE United States Champion <strong>Ricochet<\/strong>. That turn was not just a signal that The Club was back &#8211; but that Gallows &amp; Anderson had recommitted to the WWE.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_50033\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-50033\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-50033\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/07\/211_RAW_07012019jg_3388-8b5ac139913e1d2e2409aec07b17c316-e1562468846832.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-50033\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Rumored for weeks now that the tag team was on the verge of re-signing with WWE, it was a rumor that many found odd considering their circumstances the past two years. But with a new push and back alongside one of WWE&#8217;s elite level Superstars, new reports are coming out that the two have indeed signed new deals, and they are similar 5-year contracts that recent stars like <strong>Mike Bennet &amp; Maria Kanellis<\/strong> recently signed, as well as <strong>Kevin Owens<\/strong>. With Anderson at 39 years old and Gallows at 35 years old, this will take both of them into their 40s. Both Dave Melzter and award-winning sports reporter Jon Alba have both confirmed that Gallows &amp; Anderson have opted to stay with WWE.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Per a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/WWE?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#WWE<\/a> source, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson signed new five-year deals in the last 24 hours, with a significant raise. Others had reported it was done earlier this week, but source noted they didn&#39;t even receive a contract until this past Monday.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Jon Alba (@JonAlba) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JonAlba\/status\/1147519370182217729?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">July 6, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Once Bullet Club&#8217;s most dominant heavyweight tag team, capturing the IWGP Tag Team Championships on three occasions, Luke Gallows &amp; Karl Anderson were taking more of a backseat role within Bullet Club by the end of 2015, as <strong>Guerrillas of Destiny<\/strong> (Tama Tonga &amp; Tanga Loa) began to see more focus as Bullet Club&#8217;s primary heavyweight tag team.
