It airs live on BeIN Sports USA at 9pm EST. This is the third consecutive full house for Chicago, which is no surprise considering their rabid fan base and that wrestling is on fire in the Windy City. There will also be a special edition of the Jim Cornette Experience with Salina De La Renta which will be pure gold. It’s amazing that MLW’s top two heels, Salina and MJF are 22 and 23 respectively. It was announced today that MLW will host its first Pay-Per-View in November, which is exciting news for the company that quietly continues to gain positive publicity and MOMENTUM.

Air Wolf vs Ace Austin

Photo: MLW

If you had a list of the top five Middleweights in MLW it’s hard to fathom one without these two young studs. Austin dropped a tough one to Wolf in Wisconsin and looks to avenge that defeat. In fact, since winning his first two in the League he’s dropped three straight and needs this one bad or he may find himself magically outside of the Title picture. If Air Wolf wins he should be next in line or against MJF or another Middleweight right on the cusp.

Los Parks (LA PARK & Hijo De LA Park) w/ Salina de la Renta vs Dr. Wagner Jr. & Hijo De Dr. Wagner Jr.

Photo: MLW

Legendary Mexican Lucha Libre families step into the ring when the Parks and Wagners collide in Chi-Town. MJF and Holliday took out Teddy Hart after the Middleweight Champ tried to attack the former as he assisted on commentary. Hart went after the former Middleweight Champion who was saved by Holliday. The two proceeded to beat down Teddy with a belt to the face and a speedy getaway. The problem the Dynasty face is that the Harts are due. Pillman lost twice to MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone and was pinned in the Tables match against The Dynasty two months ago. We won’t say he’s the weak link, but a win would certainly go a long way towards regaining control in the feud and confidence in himself.

MLW National Openweight Championship: Alexander Hammerstone (c) vs Davey Boy Smith Jr.

Photo: MLW

This is the matchup some of us pined for after Alexander Hammerstone continued his Major League dominance by winning the National Title against Pillman Jr. last month, despite brutal travel conditions. Davey Boy is a beast and will give the new Champ all he can handle in his first defense of the newly minted Gold. There will be no flips, flights, or flair. He is the most athletic big man in the League, if not wrestling. He has the power, size, and strength of a Heavyweight with the aerial attack of a top Middleweight. Fatu is capable and conditioned enough to connect on multiple moonsaults in a short period of time, and uses lethal kicks to add to the attack. What may be the scariest part is that he’s actually better in singles than in Tag and he’s a near legend in SoCal right now in that department. Lawlor isn’t losing sleep over this because “Filthy” welcomes a fight of any kind. Contra has had success against the Champ in sneak attacks but not where it counts. A win by Fatu would put Contra essentially in control of MLW so there is so much more at stake Saturday Night in Cicero Stadium than the Championship for “Filthy” Tom.
