As the years went by, The Pansexual Phenomenon became one of the UK’s most beloved wrestlers, partly due to the fact he was just being himself whenever he stepped foot inside a ring. An openly out pansexual man (hence the nickname), Sexsmith has been very vocal in all things related to LGBTQ+. Don’t take anything away from him though – Sexsmith can be one hell of a ruthless performer when the time calls for it.

In his first two years as a wrestler, Jack had become a mainstay in PROGRESS, entering both the Natural Progression Series III (eliminated in the first round by Damon Moser) and the 2017 Super Strong Style 16 (eliminated in the quarterfinals by Zack Sabre Jr.). Alongside this, he was also plying his trade in promotions such as Fight Club PRO (FCP), Riptide Wrestling, and International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom (IPW: UK). In the latter of those promotions, Jack would go on to win the IPW: UK Tag Team Championships with his Filthy Club partner Robert Sharpe, a man he would later go on to turn against.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opPWLZ281Nw

Quite possibly the biggest match of Jack’s career came in May 2018 when he challenged Travis Banks for the PROGRESS World Championship, and although The Kiwi Buzzsaw would retain his gold, Sexsmith proved he’s more than capable of hanging with the very best the British wrestling scene has to offer. After capturing the IPW: UK Z-Force Championship from Maverick Mayhew the following August, Jack would make it to the finals of the promotion’s International Super 8 tournament last year before falling to “Smashmouth” Chris Ridgeway in the finals.

Along with David Starr in the team of Sexy Starr, Jack competed at PROGRESS’ biggest show to date inside Wembley Arena this past September in a Tag Team Championships Thunderbastard Match, before Sexsmith would go on to win the Wrestling Resurgence Championship in January of this year after coming out victorious in a Rumble Match. He would also win the Riptide Rumble Match in April, before his final match (according to Cagematch) came on an episode of Defiant Wrestling‘s Loaded show where he teamed with Tuck Shop partner Visage to defeat RenBen (Conor Renshaw and Benji).

2019 is proving to be quite a sad year for British professional wrestling, with the likes of Kid Lykos and Charlie Morgan also announced their retirement, as well as the tragic passing of Lionheart a few weeks ago.
