As ACH, he competed in the CHIKARA\u00a0<em>Young Lions Cup X\u00a0<\/em>in 2012 and ROH&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Top Prospect Tournament\u00a0<\/em>in 2013. A tournament veteran, he&#8217;s also competed in three NJPW\u00a0<em>Best of the Super Juniors\u00a0<\/em>(2016, 2017, 2018), two\u00a0<strong>Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG)<\/strong>&#8216;s\u00a0<em><strong>Battle of Los Angeles<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(2013, 2014), and Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw)<\/strong>&#8216;s\u00a0<em><strong>16 Carat Gold\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>(2017).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Boa<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_48497\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-48497\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-48497 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/06\/bb-e1560387730177.png\" alt=\"NXT\" width=\"600\" height=\"390\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-48497\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the Chinese recruits in the Performance Center, Boa is a former combat sports competitor, who excelled in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and submission wrestling. He signed with WWE in September of 2016 and has been working out at the Performance Center ever since. He began working NXT Live Events in July of 2017 and has yet to debut on TV.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Isaiah &#8220;Swerve&#8221; Scott<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-35492\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/shane-evolve.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/shane-evolve.jpg 600w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/shane-evolve-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Shane Strickland<\/strong> was one of 2017&#8217;s breakout stars and dominated 2018, as an impact player on the indies such as <strong>PCW ULTRA, EVOLVE Wrestling, DEFY Wrestling<\/strong>, and many more, as well as an early star in the reboot of <strong>Major League Wrestling (MLW)<\/strong>, where he won the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. New names aren&#8217;t new to Strickland, as he was rebranded as the masked <strong>Killshot<\/strong> for his run with <strong>Lucha Underground<\/strong>. His early years were honed in\u00a0<strong>Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)<\/strong> where he&#8217;s also a former CZW World Champion. He&#8217;s another tournament veteran, having competed in three <strong>CZW <em>Best of the Best <\/em><\/strong>tournaments (2013, 2014, 2016) and the 2016 <em>wXw 16 Carat Gold<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Cameron Grimes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35254\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35254\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35254\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/01\/Trevor-Lee-Ottawa-1024x684-e1547392925592.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35254\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AMBY<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Formerly known as <strong>Trevor Lee<\/strong>, this &#8220;Carolina Caveman&#8221; is a former 3x IMPACT X-Division Champion and is the son of <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2018\/07\/30\/tracey-caddell-passes-away\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">North Carolina indie pioneer <strong>Tracy Caddell<\/strong><\/a>, who founded <strong>OMEGA Wrestling<\/strong> with <strong>Matt Hardy<\/strong> in the 1990s. An unassuming indie star with surprising athleticism, he&#8217;s also a veteran of such tournaments as CZW\u00a0<em>Best of the Best\u00a0<\/em>(2014),\u00a0<strong>Smash Wrestling\u00a0<em>Gold\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(now The Nothern, 2015), wXw\u00a0<em>16 Carat Gold\u00a0<\/em>(2016), <strong>PROGRESS Wrestling\u00a0<em>Super Strong Style 16<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>and five straight PWG\u00a0<em>Battle of Los Angeles<\/em> from 2014 through 2018.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Bronson Reed<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37329\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/02\/14915426_1466646663362655_4350687262534483843_n-e1549237439208.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"500\"><\/p>\n<p>The Australian monster formerly known as\u00a0<strong>Jonah Rock\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0<strong>The Mighty Don&#8217;t Kneel<\/strong>, the new Bronson Reed will make his debut (hopefully accompanied by his NXT Live Events manager\u00a0<strong>Stokely Hathaway<\/strong>). A former 3x <strong>Wrestle Rampage<\/strong> Australian National Champion and <strong>Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW)<\/strong> Heavyweight Champion, he&#8217;s also a veteran of two PWG <em>BOLA<\/em>&#8216;s (2017, 2018) and the 2018 wXw\u00a0<em>16 Carat Gold.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dexter Lumis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_41159\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-41159\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-41159\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-16-at-10.37.58-PM-e1552790818379.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"349\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-41159\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The latest NXT rebranding was that of former IMPACT star <strong>Samuel Shaw<\/strong> to Dexter Lumis, who has been under the agent representation of another IMPACT star in <strong>Robbie Strauss<\/strong> (formerly Robbie E). He worked for IMPACT (then TNA) from 2010 to 2015, but has since worked the Florida indies, where he was signed after a WWE tryout.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Angel Garza<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-42039\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/Garza-Jr-696x393-e1553216757978.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"339\"><\/p>\n<p>Mexican star Garza Jr., now rebranded as Angel Garza, is part of the famous Garza family bloodline, that included <strong>Humberto Garza<\/strong> and <strong>Hector Garza<\/strong>, is officially in NXT and is starting quickly. A former IMPACT star who also worked multiple promotions in his native Mexico including <strong>The Crash Lucha, AAA<\/strong>, and others, and competed in AAA&#8217;s prestigious 2016\u00a0<em><strong>Rey de Reyes<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>tournament.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Joaquin Wilde<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-41506\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/03\/DQ8-hJ1W0AEMNMK-e1552938005725.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"432\" height=\"500\"><\/p>\n<p>Another former IMPACT X-Division Champion as DJ Z, the longtime indie veteran and superstar has finally made the jump to NXT.
