CHAOS<\/strong>‘ “Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii outlasted TAICHI<\/strong> to win his fifth NEVER Openweight Championship, making him the most decorated NEVER Openweight Champion in the title’s seven-year history. Ishii was previously tied at four reigns with fellow CHAOS member Hirooki Goto<\/strong> heading into\u00a0NJPW\u00a0<\/em>Dominion.<\/em><\/p>\n

Days after winning Best of the Super Juniors 26<\/strong><\/em>, Will Ospreay<\/strong> regained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, defeating Dragon Lee<\/strong> in another spectacle at NJPW Dominion<\/em>. It marks Ospreay’s third reign as Junior Heavyweight Champion, tying him with\u00a0Prince Devitt\u00a0<\/strong>(WWE’s Finn Balor) for the most title wins by a\u00a0gaijin<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Tetsuya Naito<\/strong> and Kota Ibushi<\/strong>‘s rivalry<\/a> took another turn as Naito finally halted Ibushi’s win streak against him by reclaiming the title he lost back in April at the G1 Supercard<\/strong><\/em> at Madison Square Garden. With his fourth title win, Naito is now one behind Shinsuke Nakamura<\/strong>‘s five reigns as the most decorated Intercontinental Champion in New Japan history.<\/p>\n
