They announced WWE Hall of Famer <strong>Billy Gunn<\/strong> as their head trainer, <strong>Jim Ross, Excalibur<\/strong> and <strong>Alex Marvez<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/2019\/04\/03\/aew-confirms-broadcasting-team-jim-ross-headlines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">as their announce team<\/a>, <strong>Alicia Atout<\/strong> as their backstage interviewer, former WWE voice <strong>Justin Roberts<\/strong> as their ring announcer, and much more. In the past 24 hours, they&#8217;ve revealed their five first announcements for referees and their three solid veterans of the industry.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46087\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46087\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46087\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/D6e-IL5W4AAQKyd-e1557882623677.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-46087\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AEW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For 20 seasons, <strong>Bryce Remsburg<\/strong> has been the senior official with <strong>CHIKARA<\/strong> and has worked many other indie promotions over the years, including <strong>Ring of Honor (ROH), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Beyond Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG)<\/strong> and <strong>Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong>. But he&#8217;s arguably best known as the senior official for PWG, where he&#8217;s been laying down the law since they opened their doors in 2003. He&#8217;s also found cruising the ring for other West Coast indies like <strong>Bar Wrestling, PCW ULTRA, Alternative Wrestling Show (AWS)<\/strong> and <strong>Ground Zero<\/strong>. Like Rick Knox, Turner was also a part of\u00a0<em>All In<\/em> as a referee.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46098\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46098\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46098\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/D6kiFu5X4AAjT4W-e1557884282414.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-46098\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AEW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Aubrey Edwards<\/strong>, affectionately known as &#8220;Gearl Hebner&#8221; on the indie scene, is a veteran of the Pacific Northwest, where she refs for the likes of <strong>DEFY Wrestling<\/strong> and <strong>3-2-1 Battle<\/strong> in Washington and <strong>Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW)<\/strong> in Vancouver. Last year, she worked for the WWE during the 2018 <strong>Mae Young Classic\u00a0<\/strong>as well as a stint in NXT.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_46111\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46111\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46111\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/D6k1HtMW0AIvAiE-e1557902640760.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-46111\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AEW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the most famous referees in wrestling history, <strong>Earl Hebner<\/strong> started in 1977 and during the 1980&#8217;s was an official with <strong>Jim Crockett Promotions<\/strong> in <strong>Mid Atlantic<\/strong>. In 1988, he jumped to the WWF where he remained a top senior official until his dismissal in 2005. In 2006, he joined <strong>TNA\/IMPACT Wrestling<\/strong> where he held the senior official title until departing in 2017. He was inducted into the IMPACT Hall of Fame in 2015. Lynn retired from pro wrestling in 2013 and in 2016 joined ROH as a backstage producer and agent.
