The AAW Heavyweight champion, <strong>Sami<\/strong> <strong>Callihan<\/strong>, has promised to take out the\u00a0<strong>WRSTLING<\/strong> faction for good in the main event against <strong>David Starr<\/strong>. \u201cThe Walking Weapon\u201d <strong>Josh<\/strong> <strong>Alexander<\/strong> will make his long-awaited return to AAW Pro. <strong>TJP<\/strong> will compete in a highly athletic contest after leaving <em><strong>WWE<\/strong> <strong>205<\/strong> <strong>Live<\/strong><\/em>. All of the matches have a real \u201cfeature attraction\u201d feel with a 7:30 PM start so let\u2019s preview all of the action from the Logan Square Auditorium shall we? This event will be available for purchase on aawondemand.com, Highspots Wrestling Network, Highspots Superstore, and Smart Mark Video.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix) vs Team Tremendous (Dan Barry and Bill Carr)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_45761\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-45761\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45761\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/Lucha-Bros-vs-Team-Tremendous-e1557524498820.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-45761\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AAW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The team of Dan Barry and Bill Carr is one of the absolute most entertaining tag teams on the planet and this is quite the showcase to present a lot more than comedy and charisma. Dan Barry nearly retired from pro wrestling in February but he is still going strong. This would be a great way for Team Tremendous to become the number one Contender\u2019s to the AAW Tag Team Championships but Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr are just coming off of a reign as champions. Team Tremendous could teach The Lucha Bros more than one would think in the ring and a really exciting upset would shock the fans.<br \/>\n<strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Team Tremendous win.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>&#8220;Walking Weapon&#8221; Josh Alexander vs &#8220;Loose Ledge&#8221; Adam Brooks\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_45762\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-45762\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45762\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/Josh-Alexander-vs-Adam-Brooks-e1557524546691.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-45762\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AAW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Josh Alexander is a former AAW Heavyweight champion, last competing for AAW at <em><strong>AAW<\/strong> <strong>Rise<\/strong> <strong>Of<\/strong> <strong>The<\/strong> <strong>Dragon<\/strong><\/em> on November 4, 2017, in a tag team match teaming <strong>Ethan<\/strong> <strong>Page<\/strong> against <strong>Jeff<\/strong> <strong>Cobb<\/strong> and David Starr. Alexander has since reunited with Ethan Page again but his AAW singles career may have a new fire lit under it after previously battling <strong>Samoa<\/strong> <strong>Joe<\/strong> and other big names in AAW in the past. Adam Brooks has yet to really break through into main events in the United States and the United Kingdom despite an incredible rivalry with <strong>Will<\/strong> <strong>Ospreay<\/strong> in Brooks\u2019 home of Australia in recent years. \u201cLoose Ledge\u201d has all of the ability to win this match but he may end up like a bowling pin by the end of the bout due to Alexander\u2019s freakish raw strength. \u201cThe Walking Weapon\u201d debuted in 2006 but 2019 is poised to be his real shining moment.<br \/>\n<strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Josh Alexander wins.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>TJP vs &#8220;Hot Fire&#8221; Myron Reed<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_45763\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-45763\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45763\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/TJP-vs-Myron-Reed-e1557524606193.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-45763\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AAW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>TJP has had quite the career, he has had ten different gimmicks and names before becoming the WWE Cruiserweight champion when 205 Live debuted on the WWE Network. This writer had the pleasure of watching TJP when he was the sensational masked Puma live in 2005, the main thing that has changed since that time fourteen years ago is his ever-adapting ring style. The twenty-year veteran will test his honed skills against \u201cHot Fire\u201d who just debuted in 2016. Myron Reed has so much going for him from his tag team with AR Fox to performing daredevil dives that rival top high-flyers in the business. A victory for Reed would mean he ascends up the card, TJP likely won\u2019t let that happen if it means a Kneebar or even dirty tricks.<br \/>\n<strong>Prediction:<\/strong> TJP wins.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AAW Heritage Championship: MJF (c) vs Mance Warner<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_45764\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-45764\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45764\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/MJF-vs-Mance-Warner-e1557524651667.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-45764\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AAW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cMancer hit the lottery\u201d said Mance Warner about challenging for the AAW Heritage championship in a backstage interview. The former <strong>Combat<\/strong> <strong>Zone<\/strong> <strong>Wrestling<\/strong> (<strong>CZW<\/strong>) World champion will look to bring the fight to the modern better-than-you heel champion. <strong>Maxwell<\/strong> <strong>Jacob<\/strong> <strong>Friedman<\/strong> debuted in 2015 and in just a short couple of years, MJF has become the hot young heel to watch in pro wrestling because he lives the gimmick. The AAW Heritage champion doesn\u2019t get too fancy in the ring, a clean defense over Warner would really give the fans a reason to boo. The Fujiwara Armbar from the <strong>AEW<\/strong> signee is a staple in the offense of MJF but could the old-school offense be enough against the wild brawling of Mance Warner? A full-blown feud may be brewing.<br \/>\n<strong>Prediction:<\/strong> MJF retains the AAW Heritage Championship.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AAW Women&#8217;s Championship: Jessicka Havok (c) vs Thunder Rosa<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_45765\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-45765\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-45765 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/Jessicka-Havok-vs-Thunder-Rosa-e1557524692412.jpg\" alt=\"AAW Take No Prisoners\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-45765\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AAW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Thunder Rosa came up short against <strong>Kylie<\/strong> <strong>Rae<\/strong> at <em><strong>AAW<\/strong> <strong>Austin<\/strong> <strong>10<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><strong>12<\/strong><\/em> when the AAW Women\u2019s championship was on the line but now the Texas favorite has another opportunity to take the gold home. Jessicka Havoc stood atop AAW Pro as the very first AAW Women\u2019s champion over the likes of <em><strong>WWE<\/strong> <strong>NXT<\/strong><\/em> star <strong>Candice<\/strong> <strong>LaRae<\/strong> and <strong>Ivelisse<\/strong> in a tournament held in December of 2017. Havoc has been such a dominated force since then, using a Tombstone Piledriver from the middle rope to put away opponents in devastating fashion. Rosa is a Latin firecracker in the ring but she has a big weight disadvantage and perhaps lacking a certain killer instinct in the finishing stretch to dethrone a monster like Havoc.<br \/>\n<strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Jessicka Havoc retains the AAW Women\u2019s Championship.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AAW Tag Team Championships: LAX (Santana and Ortiz) (C) vs The Besties In The World (Davey Vega and Matt Fitchett)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Besties In The World are former two-time AAW tag team champions but the landscape of the company has changed quite a lot since they first won those titles in 2016. Many new and exciting tag teams have entered the fold and some acclaimed teams have made their debut like the new AAW tag team champions, Santana and Ortiz. The action is going to be so fast paced that it\u2019s hard to say this doesn\u2019t steal the show. Davey Vega and Matt Fitchett may be on to much bigger things because they are more than capable of keeping up with LAX after the outstanding Besties In The World vs Bandido and Flamita tag team match recently in AAW. New champions may be crowned even without <strong>Scarlett<\/strong> <strong>Bordeaux<\/strong> by Vega and Fitchett&#8217;s side but LAX have been on a serious roll that has no signs of stopping.<br \/>\nPrediction: LAX retain the AAW tag team championships.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>AAW Heavyweight Championship: Sami Callihan (C) vs &#8220;The Product&#8221; David Starr<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_45766\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-45766\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-45766 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/05\/Sami-Callihan-vs-David-Starr-e1557524762664.jpg\" alt=\"AAW Take No Prisoners\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-45766\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: AAW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sami Callihan has become the quintessential and unlikely anti-hero at the top of AAW, he has helped raise the prestige of the AAW Heavyweight championship with unforgettable wars against Rey Fenix, Pentagon Jr, <strong>Brody<\/strong> <strong>King<\/strong> and many more in main events. Callihan is up against the WRSTLING faction now with <strong>Jake<\/strong> <strong>Something<\/strong>, <strong>Curt<\/strong> <strong>Stallion<\/strong>, <strong>Eddie<\/strong> <strong>Kingston<\/strong> and David Starr looking to rule the land. A magnificent promo laid the groundwork for this extremely exciting main event, Callihan shouted that \u201cStarr likes to say that I\u2019m re-living the glory days. The way I look at it, I\u2019m living in the glory days.\u201d Eddie Kingston says \u201cIf you have faith in anything, have faith in WRSTLING. Because we are the best thing going today. We are the Outlaws. Truly the last of a dying breed.\u201d Callihan is so aggressive and dangerous but could even the Stretch Muffler be enough to submit David Starr? \u201cYour Favorite Wrestlers Favorite Wrestler\u201d is at the peak of his career, it\u2019s time for Starr to win his first Heavyweight championship.
