Twitter was a-buzz on Friday and Saturday as reported leaks from local Hartford, Connecticut media revealed who would be in the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s MITB Ladder matches at the <em><strong>Money in the Bank<\/strong> <\/em>PPV on May 19 from Hartford. But in a surprise, a third ladder match was leaked and it appears that NXT may be getting their own MITB briefcase in play this year, for a shot at the NXT Championship. As we&#8217;ve seen before, creative plans have changed before and cards have been switched, so for now take this with a grain of salt. But if they prove to be true, all three have some interesting stories that could potentially come out of these three matches.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Men&#8217;s MITB Ladder Match<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-45010\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/04\/D5LVoxvXoAACqhH-e1556404510958.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"352\"><\/p>\n<p>A lot of fresh faces in this one, with only <strong>Rey Mysterio<\/strong> having previously held a World championship in the WWE. Joining Rey in the match, according to the leaked screenshots, will be <em><strong>Raw<\/strong><\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Drew McIntyre, Cesaro<\/strong> and <strong>Ricochet<\/strong>, while from the Blue Brand, <strong>Aleister Black, Andrade<\/strong>, and <strong>Lars Sullivan<\/strong> round out the seven competitors.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Women&#8217;s MITB Ladder Match<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-45009 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/04\/D5KcTbPXkAALMSY-e1556404560610.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"303\"><\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s ladder match features several former World champions, in <em><strong>SmackDown<\/strong><\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Bayley<\/strong> and <strong>Carmella<\/strong>, plus <em><strong>Raw<\/strong><\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Sasha Banks, Natalya<\/strong>, and <strong>Naomi<\/strong>. Rounding out the women&#8217;s seven are <em>Raw<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Tamina<\/strong> and <em>SmackDown<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Ember Moon<\/strong> and <strong>Sonya Deville<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>Becky Lynch\u00a0<\/strong>will be defending the Raw Women&#8217;s title against\u00a0<strong>Lacey Evans\u00a0<\/strong>and the SmackDown Women&#8217;s title against\u00a0<strong>Charlotte Flair\u00a0<\/strong>at MITB, and while the lack of\u00a0<strong>Asuka<\/strong> seems odd at first, she&#8217;ll likely be teaming with her new tag partner\u00a0<strong>Kairi Sane<\/strong> against\u00a0<strong>The IIconics<\/strong> for the WWE Women&#8217;s Tag Team titles.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>NXT MITB Ladder Match<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-45011\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2019\/04\/D5MUfZAXsAEtGfe-e1556404550466.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"312\"><\/p>\n<p>This is the most intriguing of the three reveals, as it would be the first time NXT has had a proper match on one of the dual brand PPVs. While NXT stars have competed on the major PPVs before, it&#8217;s always been as a participant in a battle royal, like at the <strong>Royal Rumble<\/strong> or in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at <strong>WrestleMania<\/strong>. It&#8217;s an interesting group of seven chasing the first-ever NXT MITB briefcase, featuring top NXT stars\u00a0<strong>Adam Cole, Matt Riddle\u00a0<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Keith Lee<\/strong>, as well as\u00a0<strong>Dominik Dijakovic\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Forgotten Son<\/strong>&#8216;s big man,\u00a0<strong>Jaxson Ryker\u00a0<\/strong>(formerly\u00a0<strong>Gunner\u00a0<\/strong>in TNA\/IMPACT Wrestling). The final two are interesting choices, in former WWE United Kingdom Champion\u00a0<strong>Pete Dunne<\/strong> (who may finally be making the move over from NXT UK) and\u00a0<em>Raw<\/em>&#8216;s\u00a0<strong>Tyler Breeze<\/strong>.
