When\u00a0All Elite Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>revealed that they would be scouting the Joshi (Japanese Women’s wrestling) scene for talent many fans speculated who they might sign, and so far they have since brought in Joshi legend\u00a0Aja Kong<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>former Marvelous\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Sendai Girl\u00a0<\/strong>wrestler Nyla Rose<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling <\/strong>star\u00a0Yuka Sakazaki.\u00a0\u00a0We also took a look at potential signees<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and one of the prospects we thought would be a good match has now been added, as\u00a0joshi<\/em> freelancer Hikaru Shida<\/strong> is now All Elite.<\/p>\n

\"Hikaru<\/p>\n

Hikaru Shida is a veteran of the Joshi scene having debuted back in 2010.\u00a0 She was trained by\u00a0Emi Sakura\u00a0<\/strong>and started her career aligned with\u00a0Ice Ribbon<\/strong>.\u00a0 She teamed with 2018’s Joshi wrestler of the year\u00a0Tsukasa Fujimoto\u00a0<\/strong>with the duo winning the\u00a0International Ribbon\u00a0<\/strong>tag team championships three times and winning the\u00a0REINA X World Tag Team\u00a0<\/strong>Championships twice.\u00a0 Shida was an accomplished tag team worker from an early stage of her career and while in Ice Ribbon got tonnes of experience and worked hundreds of matches by the time she branched out to become a freelancer.<\/p>\n
