Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong>‘s Joey Janela’s Spring Break 3<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0series has become a bonafide hit franchise for the Jersey-based promotion and one of WrestleMania week’s must-see attractions. Its popularity has become so overwhelming, that this year, they are running on two nights. Part one ran on Friday night and once again delivered a fun and entertaining show, with some solid grappling, some feel-good moments, and some absolute hilarity.<\/p>\n

The Returns of Two Injured Stars<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the opening contest, Joey Janela<\/strong> made his miraculous return to the ring after breaking his knee and severely damaging his leg only six months ago<\/a>. At the time, it was expected he’d be out of action over a year, with early 2020 as the original time table. But he made a shocking return for the debut episode of Beyond Wrestling<\/strong>‘s Uncharted Territory<\/strong><\/em><\/a> show on Wednesday night, re-igniting a feud from last year with David Starr<\/strong> in the process. Janela kicked off\u00a0Spring Break<\/em> Part One by facing another star who suffered an injury, a broken leg, last year in Marko Stunt<\/strong>. Marko Stunt exploded onto the national indie scene following an appearance at Joey Janela’s Lost in New York<\/em><\/strong> event<\/a> last year and just as he was blowing up, broke his leg at\u00a0Joey Janela’s LA Confidential<\/em><\/strong><\/a> last November. A big test for both men making their returns to the ring, but ultimately Marko Stunt prevailed, as both look ready to bust out in 2019 in a big way.<\/p>\n

The Arrival of Dustin Thomas<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Who? Yes, chances are you’ve never heard of this indie wrestler before but if you saw\u00a0Spring Break 3<\/em>, you do now. The New York wrestler is unique in the fact that Dustin Thomas<\/strong> has no legs. That’s right, he’s a pro wrestler with no lower appendages. But that didn’t stop him from near stealing the show in his match against CHIKARA and GCW regular\u00a0Tony Deppen\u00a0<\/strong>last night, as he showed off the athleticism that most two-legged wrestlers don’t possess.<\/p>\n
